Plastic doesn't seem very practical in a bullet, what's the benefit?
>>34846465
To make you ask questions.
The tip disintegrates leaving a cavity that promotes bullet expansion.
Greater ballistic coefficient.
Assists in expansion.
Prevents hollow point from clogging up with any barrier materials.

easy breaking b ut strong enough to reduced drag by making aerodynamics
nice gun you've got there fag, you can try to hit me, but that thing will never beat my sword and fighting style

How effective/practical would this be as an actual weapon? Maybe not for assassinations, but I think it could have some effectiveness as a self defence alternative to handguns
>Jamal holds you up with his pocket knife
>"Gimme yo wallet cracka"
>"s-sure thing"
>Take out wallet to face level
>As he reaches for it flick your palm back and stab him in the throat
Good idea or great idea?
>>34845977
That shit is retarded. Why doesn't it deploy over your wrist instead of under so you can stab while punching and not cut your fingers up?
>>34846028
In most real life applications I've seen of it the blade is manipulated using a finger ring attached to fishing wire (or a similar durable string), so that the blade is revealed by pulling your palm/fingers away from it
>>34846491
Seems counter intuitive seeing how you can punch faster, harder and more naturally than palm checking someone.
Hey Gang
I am getting this rifle in .223
Any advice on a good scope to go with it, happy to spend $500-700au
>>34845958
What's your typical hunting range?
>>34846127
100-200
>>34845958
Vortex Crossfire II scopes are very popular, I have one on my .223. It shits all over my Leupold and was only $200aud,
Leupold scopes are very nice too though. Most people go for a 3-9x power. I have .223s with both a 4-12 and a 3-9x and I prefer the 3-9x.

My 68 year old mother shoots a .380 auto, p238. She's precise, too, just needs to work on the speed of her target acquisition
If I wanted to weaponize my car, how would I make it as /k/ as possible? Where should I start with armor? How about external weapons and defenses?

bamboozled yourself?
Since we can assume NK has nukes on par with the early 50's in terms of technology, would the fallout be much greater than modern day nukes?
>>34845191
Nukes aren't real, you rube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ih94coOlnqo
>>34845191
no, and it doesnt matter anyway you would need 2000 nukes just to kill half the population. They have one.
fallout is just dust particles, they are harmless after 2 weeks in a direct hit, much less the farther you get from the blast
Why would you assume it's on par with 50's technology or development?
They are a communist society, they'll kill anyone not in a leadership position without blinking. They'll kill a thousand or million of their own for importing 1 of those things from the collapse of the USSR or even one of the people that worked on it. The USSR was a country wide prison that got taken over by prisoners they couldn't hold captive anymore. It's a failed society in any and every way before and after.

Steyr, go home. You're drunk
Would that actually cause the ammunition to cook off?
>>34847512
Doubt it.
Not hot enough nor very close to the ammo.
Alright let's test is my ban is over. Let's talk about the bulldog meme. Someone posted one with a fucking octagon barrel, how in the fuck does anyone like these things enough to get one of those on there without breaking it?

Alright noguns, good try.
Anyone want me to save photos of taking apart a bulldog? I'm too drunk to do it tonight because I'm not going to take it apart if I can't put it back together. Sticky ejection rod and trigger way past due.

Almost all of the inherent danger, mayhem, and general inconvenience of IEDs can be avoided by not invading countries that haven't done anything to you.

it's not an invasion if you go in for peaceful reasons :^)
/k/omrades, I have bought a Glock 17 gen3. (ignore gen4 pic)
Thanks to Gander Mountain being RIP'd snagged it at what is probably its normal msrp. It came with one extra 10 round magazine along with a 17 rounder.
Now the question I have for you is, what the FUCK holster do I buy ? I've shot my buddies 1911 and he had some kind of SERPA trigger lock holster and thought it was nice. Other then that I have little experience with them.
gimme dem HOT opinions my /k/unts
pls respon
That depends. How do you want to carry it? Do you just want a way to keep the gun on your body when you're at the shooting range, or do you want to conceal it?
The best way to get your money out of a 10 round pistol magazine is to sell it to people in ban states (use a Glock forum's buy/sell page) and then use the money to buy yourself a standard capacity magazine.
I also picked one of these up though I bought it for about 310 due to a misprint
What is /k/'s thoughts on the Cobra Freedom. 380? Is it junk?
