Hey /k/ I'm just curious if it's safe to drill through a live 7.62x39 bullet to make a pendant.
>>32005794
remove bullet, dump powder, fire primer, put bullet back in.
How do I take the bullet out without scratching or deforming it?
>>32005794
Ive done it with a 30-06 and 7.62x54R
Its sketchy, I wouldn't recommend it. DO NOT DO WITH STEEL CASINGS.
Drill a 1/64 hole and soak the round in kerosene for like 12 hours, that should kill the primer. Then you can open the hold up to the needed size and remove the powder.
F-16 or even a jet from the 50's could easily trump a F-35.
Why are we investing in this?
>>32005752
If you are going to bait, at least make it somewhat good.
Good ways to start a F-35 B8 thread is to point out the cost, or to say that the A-10 is better at CAS. Those baits are better as people are more likley to take them serious.
This one is just to obvious. But then again, this is /k/, you will probably get 300 replies anyway

REPORT SAGE HIDE
USAF is investing in both actually
http://edition.cnn.com/2016/09/02/politics/us-air-force-f-15-upgrades/
F-15 2040C will be workhorse for actual combat missions. F-35 will remain crippled hangar queen for leeching taxpayers money.
My uncle died can I just toss this stuff in the ocean. I am worried about moving it.I'm keeping the emblems
>>32005408
You might need a grenade someday, I say keep it.
>>32005408
What is in the box?
You could just send me the stuff?
In the box was his photos and papers from vietnam. Mostly paper and some silver coins, bottles of old eagle silver coins. The only thing in the box was a switchblade an envelope of embelsm and the grenade, a nazi dagger with the swastaka grinded off (too bad) and a bajillion little can openers.
Ruger ar-556 with iron sights and pmag 670 out the door :^)

I can get that at my local gun store with flip up irons, as well as a decent red dot. 1 mag as well. It's like 580 after tax.

So my parents are kicking me out of the house, backstory is irrelevant. I've decided to drop out of University and join the armed forces.
I was wondering if the anons of /k/ could pass on or source some Military knowledge whether it be anecdote, quotes, videos, books, textbooks, infographics, training manuals, etc. That I could study from to get ahead before I enroll. Thanks in advance.
>>32004329
>backstory is irrelevant
It's totally relevant
>>32004354
This. Gruntfag with advice.
Gotta tell me why mommy and daddy are booting you. Juicy details for details anon. How it works.
>>32004329
I want to hear the back story so I can feel slightly better about my own life.
Dad found this 41 round magazine and we were curious as to what kind of assault rifle the magazine would be compatible with. Theres no writing on the magazine, and the bullets found in it were .223 REMs. Any advicd appreciated - thanks in adv /k/

About the mag make, idfk.
2nd A CLIP I
So Glocks have two triggers but they only fire one bullet at a time?
WTF
>>32004139
Actually, glocks fire 2 rounds with each pull. They just fire rapidly enough that your ears only hear one gunshot.
>>32004160
but how does the 2nd bullet not go through the 1st bullet?
>>32004250
The rifling makes the first bullet spin faster, so the first bullet will be perpetually spinning faster and faster while the second bullet trails close behind
Why don't people recognize when they're being threatening?
Was leaving a bar the other day and this guy chased me down into the parking lot and started the whole threatening / insulting thing. He had an open pen in his hand and I don't know about you but I've seen the Bourne movies and those things can mess you up. Pen and situation aside, it's just crazy that people don't really know what they're doing when they throw themselves into a dangerous situation. Is this less common elsewhere? One of the common factors in this kind of thing starts with boat shoes and rhymes with rich white boy. Also I'm a common factor, this is like a once a month thing like goddamn.
You probably just have one of those faces.

>>32004032
As someone with one of THOSE faces, drunks are not your friend.
The AR-15 is a good gun because it shoots the 5.56 bullet really fast. The 5.56 bullet is different from the .223 bullet. The 5.56 bullet spins. The 5.56 is a direct empingment gun. The AR-5.56 is use by soldiers everywhere across the United States because it is freedom gun.
I like the 5.56 because despite it is not good in Vietnam. It becomes good with good powder.
There are other 5.56 that shoot .308. .308 is more powerful but does not shoot as fast as 5.56 because it has a smaller clip.
The 5.56 is my favorite gun.
Sometime bad people are using for bad but that is not good. I think most 5.56 is for good.
Thank you
what the fuck?

Hopefully shortly after the NFA overall will be BTFO

One can hope, lets hope for the best.
Does anyone actually follow 922r? I would imagine its not uncommon for a guy to switch out his parts without realizing such a law exists
