Why would anyone buy any makarov variant that isn't the cz82?

I've had a Tavor for a while now. I think I got mine right after they came out. I liked it when I got it, more so than my AUG and FS2000. I still like both of those but the Tavor was always just nicer. I've never had a problem learning a new manual of arms for things like the Tavor mag release and bolt release. /k/ said the x95s were terrible, worse than the standard Tavor. I have to admit, I like the look of the original Tavor more, especially while remembering all the hours playing Halo: CE. The x95 is much more comfortable and the mag release is in a great spot for my finger. I wish they'd have done something like a BAD lever or the ACR mag release, but really that's my only complaint. It feels much more handy than the Tavor despite them being so similar. I also really like how they moved the charging handle back so you get rail space on all sides unlike the original.
Of all the rifles I've bought recently I really, really liked the ARX100. It's a giant fish gun but it's crazy light and really easy to manhandle. The recoil is very low for such a light rifle. My girlfriend picked it up and was ringing steel with it on the first mag. She mostly shoots .22LR.
I hope I can get out and shoot the x95 this weekend. I'm kinda thinking it's going to be my new favorite recent purchase. Does anyone else have one? MAC needs not respond.
