Dad found this 41 round magazine and we were curious as to what kind of assault rifle the magazine would be compatible with. Theres no writing on the magazine, and the bullets found in it were .223 REMs. Any advicd appreciated - thanks in adv /k/

Im not into guns, so dont know the jargon. Sorry, i clearly offended you guys.
....was just looking for an answer to a genuine question, no need to lose your shit over clip/magazine confusions

It looks like an AR-15 magazine. It should work in any gun that accepts a STANAG magazine.
>>32004181
that is a strange capactiy
>isn't divisible by 3 for muh burst mode
>isn't a multiple of 10
that info is enough to steer me in the right direction for further research.
Thanks for not being a dick

41 rounds, just confirmed
>>32004181
It's an ar18 mag, you can tell because the side the mag catch cut is on.
>>32004181
most likely an AR-15/M16/M4
they all fire .223 REM rounds
some AR-15s barrels can also fire .556 rounds as well
>>32004285
could be just googled AR18 - never even knew those existed.
>>32004181
It's an old 40 round AR180/AR15 mag from the 80s, generally pretty shitty quality but if you replace the follower with a Magpul one it'll be a decent mag. It probably holds 41 because a.) It's shit or b.) To have room to load a full mag on a closed bolt.
part of me knows that this is a troll,
