Tfw when you can't enjoy AF ROTC because your senior cadets are all boots, who teach you shit that when you bring up to real airmen they laugh at you.
>>32021416
The real Airmen will laugh at you no matter what when you are an Lt. (Behind your back of course)
Just don't be boot like the stereotype butter bar and listen to your NCO's advice (who have their shit together anyway)
>>32021416
Suck it up or join army if you have one, is the only solution to this

Why don't they manufacture it without the rim?
>>32021355
Do you not understand the purpose of the rim?
Because Mosins like rimbjobs.
>>32021355
What the fuck is wrong with you?
how about a S&W SD9VE as the first CC?
It's a good option or should I save a little bit more for a p320
>>32021273
Probably a little big for CC unless you're a big guy
>>32021273
It's a poor man's Glock 19.
They're almost exactly the same on paper, but the Glock is likely to run better and hold its value better.
I conceal a 19 and it sucks balls. It's a lot of gun to carry around everywhere and if it's too much trouble to dress around it I often take my NAA instead. A better choice might be to get a 43 or 42, a shield, xdm, or p238 or p239.
>>32021450
Forgot about lcp, lc9, and the berettas.
Why have you forsaken the ultimate weapon, /k/?
The Megazord is disappointed in you.

I defeated Ultimate Weapon right before Sephiroph. My materia be fly like that.

Any Legionnaires here on /k/? I'm thinking about joining. How is it? How's the FAMAS? How about the FĂ©lin system?
Also, what MOS's are there in the infantry regiments? I couldn't find anything other than your basic infantryman and sniper.
>>32021051
I'm gonna give you some advice. Unless you have already served in an army then don't bother, because odds are you will desert.
>>32021121
Not OP but what causes that?
I'd Assume westerners have an idea of glamour and excitement and it turns into just bs garrison life.
>>32021121
>>32021154
I'd like to know as well. Never have I thought of deserting as an option if I even did get accepted into the FFL. What causes someone to desert the FFL versus other militaries?
I was looking to buy some WWI or WWII era firearms, i was looking at a Luger P04, but couldn't find anything under $1,500 US. I was also looking at an Enfield but it has the same price problem. Any ideas /k
>>32021020
Depends on model and condition. But yes, prices for desirable antiques will only go up.
>>32021020
Springfield, 1911(cheap copies of both 1911 and 1911a1), someone somewhere is probably selling their old MosinNagant for relatively cheap.
Are there any situations where having a gun in each hand would be advantageous compared to using a single gun with both hands?
Like pistols/machine pistols/anything else you could 1 hand
>>32020930
Unless literally the only thing needed is massive amounts of lead downrange in a very vague direction, e.g at a massive horde of zombies, then no.
there was a guy pearce movie that did dual wielding well, i.e he had no extra mags and used one pistol at a time in order to conserve ammo

Are Tru-spec pants yay or nay?
I have an offer to buy three brand-new pairs for about $130, is it worth it?
What do you need that a pair of blue jeans won't accomplish for cheaper.
>>32021037
Pants in original multicam, I jerk off to that type of gear.
>>32021037
Smart Fabric that's mositure wicking yet insulative. Reinforced, articulate knee and crotch for added manuverability and durability . Sometimes rubberized knee pads. Depends how fancy you are.

Pretty much any .30-06 boltgun or single shot rifle.
Sup /k/, I have a question regarding straw purchases. I'm 19 and I own pistols and have bought plenty through private party but my dad wants to get me a handgun for my 20th.
If he bought a handgun and gave it to me, would this be straw purchase?
If so, how would he go about legally buying me a pistol as a gift?
>pic not related
>>32020135
>inb4 ATF
and I am in Texas, if that means anything.
>>32020135
As long as you are both legally able to own the firearm, no it is not illegal as long as it is transferred over to you at the time it is gifted.
As an extra precaution, you might want to take your dog off premises at the location of this transaction.
>>32020164
>no it is not illegal as long as it is transferred over to you at the time it is gifted.
Explain? Isn't a "transfer" just "here ya go son" and then it's mine?
Found this at work, looks like a rifle but I honestly don't know, could be a cement nailer. But the more I look at it, it looks like it has a front sight post, bolt, etc. Does anyone know more about guns than me that could tell me what it is? (For those that care how I found it, long story short I work at a power plant that burns garbage, so I find all kinds of weird shit in the ash leftover)
Looks german. Much like an mp40. Where do you work? What do you do? Area might give better insite
Most likely a pellet rifle
>>32020084
Looks like an assault rifle machine gun.
Any military guys out there? I wanted to know if it was too late for me to join. I want to serve my country.

I joined at 26. Heaps of people join when they are in their mid twenties. They just tend to hate it more because they have more experience in the world and are more used to being treated like an adult. I would not recommend.
>>32020162
This. When you're 18-20 you're still used to being bossed around your whole life so the military life is easier. When you're going in at 25 you'll start to feel the age gap. Best to get some schooling done so you start off above the scrubs. Get an associates degree and enjoy some college pussy while you can.
Hey /k/
Recently I have come across a potential opportunity to open up an indoor firing range. The small city north of my property has strict laws that make it complicated to run such an operation in the city limits. My property is a small drive out of the city in a rural area. I was talking with a gunshop owner in the city and he said he wouldn't mind a partnership and he could recommend his customers to me if I got around to setting up a facility. This business would be operating in Ontario too btw.
I was thinking I would charge fees for personal firearm use on the range, I could rent out firearms, and sell ammo. Even sell various hunting gear on the side and whatnot.
Anyone have any experience in range operations? are they a profitable venture?
>>32019955
>are they a profitable venture?
Liability insurance and environmental compliance is why opening a range is a really, really hard thing to do. Just provide a place that is well maintained and clean and call it a "club" with a monthly or yearly fee. It would be a decent latch key business but by no means a main source of income.
>>32019955
>This business would be operating in Ontario too btw.
Awesome. Whereabouts?
If you want it to be profitable, you'll want to approach the local police forces. They need SOMEWHERE to train, so getting their business would be a huge boon.
The HVAC is going to be costly, fair warning.
>>32019979
Yeah that's what I thought when I considered insurance and contaminant compliance. Ultimately this would be a side venture, I got a few main ideas to focus on but I thought a range would be a cool way to profit from my hobbies.
>>32019988
My brother is a very accomplished engineer and he said he would be more than happy to design a good ventilation system for the building. We have made trips down to Florida the past two winters and we have been checking out the ranges down there. Seeing how the freedom states run their stuff and getting ideas.
I like the police concept too, good idea. Plus there are a lot of veterans in my area so I think I could bank on veteran discounts on holidays and whatnot.
I'm located near Cornwall.
Talk me about this plane
Is it good or bad?
Compared to the f35?
>>32019896
Well it actually flys.
So its automatically better
It works to kill sand monkeys and poor Baltic baboons. It's a good plane, probably won't beat a F-35 in most cases but might get lucky from time to time.
>>32019909
So wait, the F-35's doing vtol and taking off behind my house aren't flying?
So this guy walks into your girlfriend and slaps the club in the ass and says
Tell me American why should i buy American equipment, when the Russian stuff is cheap and easier to maintain?
What's your response
GET TO THA CHOPPA!
"The Russians don't have a drone with hellfire missiles maintaining target lock on your wife and children."
