How do I dissuade people from the " less guns= less mass murders meme"?

Kill the masses, less mass

The armedwithreason.com website had a pretty good article on this.

After checking my extensive records it appears I don't have a list of /k/ approved revolvers for concealed carry. I'm in the market for one, what would you respectable gentlemen recommend?
Easy answer: S&W M66
686+ for me m7
not until glock makes a revolver
After studying 5th gen fighters, I have come to the conclusion that the Raptor is #1, followed by the PAK FA and J-20. I was wondering if anyone has links to war games or simulated battles that compare these planes and others such as the euro fighter. Your thoughts on those and much more. Also does the F22 carry a Luneburg lens in war games? http://www.mayurakshi.net/luneberg.htm

>I have come to the conclusion that the Raptor is #1
No offense, but the Raptor is the only 5th gen to actually have a combat record at this point. So it kind of wins by default.

F22 and Euro Fighter performing maneuvers.
Check out the RCS in the pic, you can feel it
the F22, PAK FA, and J-20 have never faced off. Hell, the PAK FA and J-20 have never been seen by other countries period.

Which branch are you enlisting/enlisted/considering?
http://strawpoll.me/6764857
I'm a wildland firefighter in mid 20s.
I've been wanting to join forever, but fell for the college meme that i never wanted but that seemed like the "normal" route.
While i'm still young I would really like to enlist.
>love learning languages. speak German and Spanish well, plus others decently.
>/fit/
>My job is to be miserable innawoods for 16 hours a day.
Any anons have advice? worth?
>>32014765
If you wanna join then join. Youll regret not doing it it sounds like. Have you thought about branch? Rate/mos?
FIRST for yes lie about medical issues theyll never know.
FIRST for they dont care if your references arent perfect just put someone down.
FIRST for marines are a meme dont join them.
There goes 95% of the questions.

With a real president in power, can we finally get some battleships back into the fleet and get rid of our pansy shit carriers
>>32014355
No
But if it's any consonance, the Zumwalt will be better than the Iowa in just about every way that matters, and it will be glorious.
I'm not even a botesfag yet can tell how retarded you are, OP.
Who /hdshotgun/ here?
Though I have a couple cheap 870 Express shotguns and a Winchester Model 25, I've never really had a full blown HD shotgun before. I've been thinking of picking up a Mossberg 590A1.
What does /k/ use as their burglar blaster?
>>32012596
Do it, mossberg is the only affordable brand of home defense shotguns since Remington's QC went to shit.
>>32012596
I just got a benelli nova tactical with a mag tube extension
>>32012742
mossbergs also have a more reliable extractor, and the flex is very easy to customize the stock to your preference too
Get #1 buck with Flitecontrol if you can find it. #1 has more pellets than 00 but still meets FBI minimum penetration standards. 15 pellets of #1 vs 8 or 9 pellets of 00. The extra penetration of #00 isn't better than 6 or 7 extra wound tracts.
Tell me you wouldn't want to wake up in a cozy cabin each morning and see that view, and hear your gunshots echo across the mountains, with nothing around you but a pristine coniferous forest as far as the eye can see.

At what age do you all teach your kids how to shoot? Or handle firearms? I have heard a lot of mixed things on this subject, and never gave it any thought till..
well
today.
I got Mugi pregnant
>pic related
I was taught at age 10, Dad got me a 22lr, I think that's a good age but at the same time I've seen some damn good videos of kids shooting at ages much earlier.
I'm thinking, just like a musical instrument, if taught at a young age, they can grasp the concepts easier and learn good techniques and disciple.
What guns did you learn on or teach your kids with?
My 6 year old daughter is getting a bolt action .22 rifle for christmas.
Oh the joy it brings me to know the insanity that is coming to your gay ass.
The only thing that brings any regret is knowing your shit stained spawn will eventually integrate with the rest of the world.
>>32001543
I was introduced at 6, my father handed the Winchester .22 down to me years ago after I got married. I'm aiming for 6, but things may be tweaked depending on maturity levels and how much they want it.
Just moved to the Orlando area
Best place to get milsurp?
Best outdoors range?
Any meetups?
>>31994826
>Best outdoors range?

Should we tell him?
>>31994833
Is there a reason I haven't seen any so far?
Please don't do this to me..
>>31994826
>Best outdoors range?
>Florida
Mein fuhrer...
There are free public ranges in the ocala and lake city national parks, both of which are a bit of a drive for you.
I'm way north of you so not too familiar with how it is down in Orlando, but other than those two free public ranges I suggest you get to know some people with private land because that is the best way to shoot outdoors in Florida.
So I'm getting an m-65 soon, and I was just wondering what are some other, better field jackets?
Specifically, ones that are practical, but nice looking. The looks part isn't as important, but as I civilian, I don't want to look too autistic wearing it. Durability is almost as important as practicality as well.
Thanks
>>31994067
Depends how much of a cocksucker you are?????
Wear this if u like women.
>>31994105
Don't worry about what goes in my mouth.
And that jacket is everywhere. I would like to get my hands on one, but I would prefer more original answers. Not trying to be a dick, but there's at least two-three threads with this jacket being talked about
>>31994067
>wearing milsurp in public
You're not the nigger in Mafia 3 and it's not the 70s anymore.
.40 SW or 9mm?
>>32026345
.40 is for faggots. 9mm all day erry day.
10mm short ofc
>>32026345
>40 short & weak
>lol9mm
10mm you fag
Can someone help me identify the tanks on the back? The photos are supposedly from a Hezbollah parade on Syria.
Judging by the ERA I think they look like a T-80BV, but it wouldn't make much sense given the context of the photo.
>>32025870
The first vehicle is intresting, its a KUB chassie with a 85mm czech AT gun mod. 1944.
The tanks look like they only have one drivers visor wich indicates that is not a T-80 variant.
My guess is a T-72AV
>>32025870
The smokegrenades mounted on the right side also makes me think its an a T-72AV.
>>32025928
>>32025964
>T-72AV
That's it, I forgot it existed. Keep thinking on B1 and B3 when thinking on T-72s, thanks.
The KUB is funky, they also ZPUed a bunch of M113s.
Just bought this GP 5 gas mask. I bought it mostly as a novelty item, but could it actually work as a functioning gas mask in case SHTF? And the coffee can filter was made in 1990 and just opened today (by me). Is it safe to use?
>>32025701
Yeah it could work, and the filter is probably ok. I have a GP-5M myself, but I wouldnt enter a gaschamber with it.
>>32025721
What can the filter protect you from/not protect you from? Tried googling it, but couldn't get any straight answers.
>>32025774
Not him but all the old masks should only be expected to protect against tear gas. The rubber generally gives too poor of a seal to protect against most chemical or biological agents (unless you are totally clean shaven with short hair and even then they aren't perfect) and the jury is out as to whether filters contain asbestos.
That's why all surplus vendors sell them as novelty products.
Let's have an argument about who makes the best combat gloves for combat/outdoor/innawoods purposes. Pic related is the best pair I've ever had. Extremely heat resistant, they endured unbelievable amounts of abuse after croaking from five years of punishment. Can't find them for the same $15 price point from all those years ago. The dexterity cannot be matched.
Best combat gloves are birthday gloves as long as you don't have numale hands
I am also looking for gloves, to replace my Seirus cycling or whatever pos gloves.
Looking for
Abrasion resistance, palm and all fingers
Wind and possibly water resistant
Thin/enough dexterity for shooting, operating zippers/buttons, opening beers, etc.
These will be for driving, biking, holding beers outside, and also innawoods activities such as grabbing trees so I don't fall over and picking up firewood and rocks n stuff. I wear ski gloves if I'm gonna be really cold for long periods so these don't have to be super warm
Outdoor Research alibi 2 gloves. Made for ice climbing so they've got a real thin leather palm area but pretty good insulation elsewhere. I got mine on clearance so they were only like $40.
