In August I was at the local range practicing with my .270, getting ready for deer season, and decided to try a 360 no scope shot and see if I could do it IRL and get on target.

I tried it once hopping off a milk crate and actually got some paper. I was about to try again and some four-eyed loser wearing crisp, pressed plaid and shooting a .22 with his nerd son, you just knew they were rich fucks trying to "be primal", started screaming "NOOOOO!!! NOOOOOO!!! NOOOO!!!" like a retard.

I asked him what his problem was and he was so anxious he was literally babbling and stuttering. He ended up getting the range master and long story short, I got banned. It was my local range too, now I have to drive 30 min to a quarry.

Anyway, people these days are definitely pussies and afraid of their own shadows.

Still haven't mastered the IRL 360 no scope again, but I still try sometimes near the end of a quarry session.

Anyone else try this? Any suggestions?

How to make an AR (or really any other rifle that can look alike) that looks like this here gun? I've really got a boner for it, and since it's Norinco I know I'm never gonna get it because stupid chinks trying to sell guns to US gangs, maybe The Don will remove these import restrictions for better relations or something, who knows really. Holy shit this makes me sick to my stomach. Thoughts on this site? I just got the armslist email that they are sponsoring.
https://www.guntransfer.com/

It's a private company running a gun registry "to keep communities safe." Judging by the style of the website, it's a couple libfags trying to take advantage of fudds. It's bad enough that people are so insistent about bills of sale in private sales, or they want to do them at gun stores. "Protecting your own ass" isn't an excuse for inflicting higher levels of restrictions than are legally required. It's you being a closet liberal.

Alright /k/, let's talk Gam-Gams. Does anyone here have actual experience with setting up an older woman for home defense? What do you guys do for your moms and grandmas if you aren't there and they have no males in the house?

I am trying to figure out the ideal weapon for my grandma. She usually has my uncle around but when he's not there I would like her to have something she can rely on. She has expressed interest in this, especially due to the fact our neighbors had a break in not too long ago, and I know she has experience shooting back when she was younger because her dad hunted and took her a few times.

My concerns with semi auto pistols are limp wristing due to obvious week hands. For this reason I am leaning towards a revolver or a shotgun. Shotgun would be 20 guage I am thinking, and while ideal in most aspects, I think the weight is kind of limiting and cumbersome for an elderly woman. I think a revolver might be the best bet, maybe a 4" 357 loaded with low pressure 38's. The trigger pull on double action seems to be the only hurdle here. I wish I could get a limp wrist proof semi that was striker fired with a 3.5lb trigger pull. I don't know, elderly women are so frail and weak that maybe this is an impossible task and maybe I should just accept that. What do you guys think? I'm sure plenty of you know grandmas that can swing a double barrel 12 gauge like a feather duster, mine is just not in that kind of shape or has that type of strength, so I really want to hear from people who have experience with similar situations

>>32033304
You know I really don't have an answer I could count on and I would never recommend a 22 in normal circumstances but maybe a 22 revolver would actually be good here?
There are heavy 22 revolvers and a ruger LCR might be good too. I know the triggers are heavy but I worry more about her causing a malfunction on a semi-auto or unable to hold the gun after firing anything heavier.
>>
>>32033304
Also with shotguns, unless it was semi, I don't think she could handle the manual of arms for racking and reloading by herself. So either a break open or a semi that can be loaded for her by someone else beforehand.

Also for the revolvers, I am thinking rimfire is out as well, because although the recoil would be low, the trigger pull is just too heavy.

Maybe I should settle on just a big can of bear spray and have her hope for the best?
>>
>>32033327
Yeah that is exactly what my concern is with the semi auto handguns. I just know she would limp wrist and jam the fuck out of a glock, and a 1911 might be feasible but the recoil would probably be too great. Maybe a 1911 with a 22 conversion slide? There should be no recoil on that, especially with the standard steel frame. Anyone ever set their grandma up with something like that?

It just sucks to know she's defenseless without anyone there, but maybe that's what I have to accept

Anyone know if they make like panic button alarms that immediately call the police? Kind of like what bank tellers use? Something that brings the police right away, with no phone conversation needed?

apparently if you bought an NFA item, you can skip the 4473 check when you purchase a Title I firearm: http://www.ammoland.com/2016/11/atf-form-4473-firearms-transaction-record-revised-2017/#axzz4QJEd4K00

In the situation that I have to defend myself in my apartment, 00 buckshot will most likely go through the wall. My question is, if it does go through the wall, what legal consequences can I face if the shot hits my neighbors apartment?

Literally all depends on state and circumstances and sometimes local laws as well.

You DO NOT want to have rounds going into your neighbors house. Assume you will be liable for what they do.
>>
>>32032328
Depends on your state/county/local ordinance, however, I'd assume if anyone got hurt (other than the assailant) then it'd be your ass.

Load some shells with small jawbreakers or something, at least they'll be somewhat frangible and you can worry slightly less about blowing your neighbors away.
>>
>>32032328
Use #4 buckshot instead if you're worried, or buy an AR and use that instead.

So I just turned 21 recently and I've been interested in getting a handgun for protection. I was wondering if you guys could red pill me on handguns I wanna know all the /k/ approved guns. Any pastebin or infographic that has a list of quality guns? My long term goal is to get a cz75. But right now I have a budget of less then 300$. I've decided I will be getting a 9mm caliber. I've read that the cheapest guns are Jimenez and that they're shit quality. been looking at high points currently. Help me guys

Honestly at that budget I'd tell you to save a bit more while you wait for Trump to take office and prices to hopefully drop.

If you *really* want something reliable and cheap, I've heard good things about the Tokarev, though ammo price and availability could be an issue. 9mm version is available but I don't know enough about that version to weigh in on it.

How will firearms, the firearms industry, and other aspects of firearms, change after import bans, state gun bans, the hughes amendment, NFA , and all of these other observed gun laws are eliminated?
35 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>32038173
The answer is that the industry will thrive and we will get guns at cheaper prices. Perhaps more innovation due to the increased competition and re-opened markets for certain banned products.

The question is when. Sure we will get progress, but without anyone to push for it things will come slowly, if at all. The new SC Justice must be appointed first. Then Trump must work on easy concealed carry for all 50 states. His platform includes 2A rights, but focuses on immigration and the economy. We won't see a VSS Vintorez or a national right to carry unless we actively reach Trump and attempt to regain our rights. It all starts with the national right to carry.

Will we ever see the ban lifted on automatics?

Theoretically, what is will be the best time within the next 8 years, to include mid-term elections etc, to pressure these douche bags into passing pro-gun bills?

Hello everyone

I've been bugging people in gear threads for a few days about multi-purpose pistol pouches. My reasoning is that I'm experimenting with my ammosexuality right now and if I could find a way to save a few bucks for ammo that'd be great. I ended up buying (from left to right) a Blue Forece Gear Single Belt Pouch, HSGI P-TACO, and G-Code Scorpion.

The Blue Force Gear is just some type of elastic material. That's it. Very simple (but still costs $20 for some reason).

The HSGI is well known. It's plastic outer edges with Cordua on the front and back with bungee cord. Tension can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the cord stop.

The G-Code is two plastic pieces held together with bungee cord. It can be adjusted in the same way as the HSGI. The inside is lined with their tactical fuzz.

The BFG and HSGI use the same type of hook and loop fastener to attach to your belt. The BFG loops are pretty small and feel kind of wimpy. Some more hard use will see if they work well or not.

The HSGI loops are larger and seem to hold on pretty tightly. I found the easiest way was to just close the loops in the tightest position and then thread them through my belt.

The G-Code has a hard loop which is generally what I would prefer for gear I'm mounting on a belt. The inside has hook and loop to hold it extra secure I guess.

Please forgive using my Shield magazine. I wanted to give a good height reference and my other P226 magazines have arrived yet.

The BFG and HSGI magazines sit at almost the same height. The also held pretty close to my body (which I couldn't figure out how to get a good picture of).

The G-code sits much higher and further away from the body. Which depending on your set up might be good, I guess. But for my purposes it felt like it was hanging too far out.

OP here, so made the thread to transfer picture to PC but also I have question if anyone can help.

The trigger is light and if I'm dry firing it or not really shooting for accuracy, the break is light, it's good.
However, when shooting slowly for accuracy, like I was at target, the break is like hitting a brick wall sometime. I'll see the front post start bobbing up and down and I have to really pull disengage the seer.

Anyone else have this issue? Advice? I can just slap shots downrange and not shoot so slowly but then accuracy suffers.
