I am doing this project and I might need your help.
It's related to nation borders, basically irredentism in Europe.
Perception of ones greater country, f.e. Greater Croatia, or Greater Portugal.
I found some information on Wiki,

After the battle of hastings in 1066, when the english were defeated and overthrown by the normans, and england became a norman state up until now, arent english people not actually english people, just normans? Why is it still england and not just land of the normans?
