I was under the belief that they were in such a predicament where the enemy was seen as those who wishes to not only destroy their operation, but also their family, their way of life, and their traditions. So I'd also like to know why they didn't make use of more drastic measures as the impending doom neared their doorstep.

They were outsiders everywhere they went but mostly too committed to their own ways to integrate. Rather than converting and inter-marrying they largely preferred to stay 'the local Jewish family' or whatever.

They were everywhere and not bound by their faith to avoid the practice like nearly everyone else. There hasn't really been a point in history since their banishment where they weren't the outsiders in multiple ways. And outsiders are always the intuitive choice when someone needs blaming. Everything from the First World War to The Black Death got blamed on Jews somewhere or other.

Thats exactly what Germany did, they also had a vastly superior air force to the USSR. Plus even if they did manage to get to the English Channel their soldiers would of just not only been fighting a relentless war against Germany for 3 years but would also have to be able to have the organisation and willpower to push the Allies back.

but there are still religions like buddhism, jainism, taoism, hindu sects, etc etc, that dont believe in god, or dont require the belief in a god.
In buddhism's case, they dont require a belief in a god because caring about how or why the universe exists is unnecessary and clouds the mind from mindlessness.
So even if god created everything, there isnt always a reason to care or for it to matter, or be applicable to anything.
