How did Italian Mafia turned into the most influential crime organization in history?

Through crime

A weak state with a strong non state factor near by. Also it was placed Ideally to extract wealth from the richer parts of Europe.

Why did the Entente punished Hungary so harshly ?
>>1694049
Because the rest of the A-H empire was ripshit pissed at them for being massive cunts to all the other minorities.
>>1694049
Not far enough desu
>>1694049
Because it was a belligerent in WW1 and had minorities. Also, the final borders were more decided by the local powers and recognized by the Allies.
Were brown shirts "white trash"?
I heard they were looters and assaulted random people in the streets
Indeed they were.
Thats why many of them were disbanded later on because they were only a hinderance to the image.
You dont brawl against commis in streetwars without the helping hands of the 20s equivalent of hooligans. They were also kinda /r9k/ weaponized, often tasked with shaming and parading racemixers around.
>>1694023
No, Germans are not white.
>>1694060
Im glad we are not.
Its a cancerous anglo-american concept that wittles down the legitimacy for our ethnic tribalism in favour of some bullshit pan-european/pan-whatever curious people is pale enough to pass as such universalism and thus also the connection between direct heritage and culture.
Has studying history influenced your political views or worldview?
For me I've become increasingly apolitical. I've learned that what happens happens and that there's no right or wrong when it comes to actions and leadership.
>no right or wrong when it comes to actions and leadership
But this is blatantly wrong. It's hard to tell from our current situation but there are political actions that help us more than others.
>>1694085
Will it matter in the long-term though? If a civilization is in decline the best you can do is create a last spark of glory but the overall trend is downward.
>>1694160
There is nothing wrong with decline, it's natural - you can slow it down but it's impossible to prevent.
Was Germany WW1 the greatest army of all time?
>>1693921
No, why would they be?
>>1693921

Hello /his/.
As an amateur archaeologist in west flanders, I find kilograms of shrapnel every time I go out on a search. I think it is kind of a waste to just keep them in piles so if anyone of you is interested in a small piece of history, let me know. You just need to cover the packaging fees.
Also, ask me anything about the relics of ww1 in flanders
>>1693920
Pics?
>>1693920
>amateur archaeologist
You best clarify that statement before you get labeled as a graverobber.
Cool, I was in Flanders recently, visiting family. Went to a cafe where the guy had his own museum upstairs of stuff he'd discovered, looked really professional.
What does The Christ mean to you?
dead kike on a stick
>>1693764
A failed apocalyptic preacher that should be forgotten.
>>1693764
The annointed.
So /his/, you are given the option to die naturally in your sleep with no warning, or die naturally surrounded by your closest family and friends while awake. Your mind will be wiped of the decision you made, and it will not affect your lifespan.
Which do you chose?
>>1693746
In my sleep. What is the point of this?
>>1693746
>family and friends
>>1693746
Can I choose to die violently instead? Taking out non-descript enemies in a massive explosion?
Was this justified?

I'm looking for an history book about the history of the USA from the settlement of the 13 English colonies and before to present times, if possible in French or in an English that is not too sophisticated.
>>1693580
You know whats better than gay books?
>>1693580
I highly HIGHLY reccomend a book called the albion's seeds: four british folkways for this subject. it divides the states moreso according to the origin of settlers from within england, which I think is a better way to really divide up the settlements unless your explicit purpose is to examine law
it's seriously one of the best books on america EVER written. it clarifies regional differences that most americans themselves talk about in reference without explicitly understanding
MUST READ
>>1693622
>settlers from within england
My bollox to barnyard door I bet Liverpudlians are the ancestors of Virginians.
What was the Italian SS?

the Spaghetti Squad
Look how small the top of his head is.
Have there ever been any serious inquiries into the claim that Abu Bakr II launched an expedition across the Atlantic? All I can find is overeager Hotep bullshit and archaeologists protesting a little too emphatically that there's absolutely no evidence. It would have been extremely weird for a civilization as wealthy and well-educated as the one that housed Timbuktu not to have tried some sort to seafaring expedition; even societies as insular as ancient Egypt and China sent boats out. It also doesn't radically change our view of history if we were to find that someone sent out a bunch of boats that sank and that the next ruler was so embarrassed by his predecessor that he didn't bring it up again. I have to wonder if there's really no evidence or if we're just in the, "There's this obscure reference to it but no one has bothered to really look into it," phase.
>>1693554
What part of "absolutely no evidence" don't you understand?
He was trying to find a trade route by sea up the west coast of Africa.
>>1693554
>It would have been extremely weird for a civilization as wealthy and well-educated as the one that housed Timbuktu not to have tried some sort to seafaring expedition
Take a look at a map. Notice how no matter which way you sail from the mouth of the Niger, you have thousands of miles of jungles and niggers to get past before you reach anything remotely worth trading with.
Why was free trade such a novel concept?
If we look at empires and kingdoms of old (China for example) trade has always been heavily restricted business. What did they have against free trade?
Merchants start to own everything and shit
>>1693426
The rich merchants grab everything they can and grow in wealth, challenging the monarchy, the church and monopolizing industries and making competition unfeasible for small merchants.
>>1693426
Because free trade chokes competition, and competition is good for the economy.
Seems counterintuitive, doesn't it? Until you realize that big enough private enterprises are no weaker than actual governments, and as such just as capable to force monopolies and much more motivated and less hampered to do so.
Not to mention that free market is much like anarchy: a purely hypotetical scenario within the context of society.
How did you find your faith, /his/?
I was about to be shot but I was offered to become one of them instead of dying alone. Being an autistic lonely person i accepted. I fight for Allah now in Afghanistan.
>>1693411
I didn't. I never had it and barring mental illness or massive cranial trauma, I never will.
