Looking around, there is no God to be seen. If you claim there is such a thing as God, you have to prove it. We don't have to disprove the existence of God, since the default position, out of what we can perceive, is that there is none.

Say we are in a park and there are about 200 rocks in the field. Under one of those rocks, there is a $100 bill. If I look under 15-20 rocks with nothing under them, I could say there is no $100 bill in that park. If you claim there is, despite empirical evidence suggesting there isn't, it is unreasonable for me to believe you, unless you actually go, pick up a rock and grab a $100 bill from underneath it.

I haven't look under every rock, but the probability that there is a $100 are so slim that I don't really give possibility a lot of time. Whenever I go to a park in real life, I don't start looking everywhere for something valuable. I know the probability are so slim, it isn't worth looking everywhere.

It's the same with religion. The ideas of religions are always so human-centric, they are always so simplistic and uneducated when it comes to describe reality, compared to what science is teaching us about the world, that it seems so unlikely to be real, it's not worth exploring that thoroughly. We sorta know intuitively already that it isn't real, the same way everyone knows intuitively that hobbits from Tolkien don't really live hidden in today's modern England, despite Tolkien saying that in FOTR prologue.

Now, that's the default statement. And here are some people claiming otherwise, but never having any proof for it. You tell me there is a $100 bill in the park? Unless you find one, I won't believe you.
