Why there is even a need to redistribute income and wealth?! Everybody got as much money, as thye deserved by their hard work or the lack of it.
>>1775155
Because most left-wing movements are built on a bedrock of resentment and petty jealousy of their betters.
Basically people that were never able to get over high school.
>>1775155
Because some people got their money by being dicks or because they were born into money. A 99% inheritance tax would solve 99% these people's problems with capitalism.
>>1775176
Can't you just give up your son your money and property under some excuse to avoid that ~99% tax? Before you die, I mean.
What did he mean by this?
*tips fez*
He meant PRAISE TENGRI
If he was against Islam why Trukey flag uses the islamic moon and star?!
Did Moses really exist and did he really have cool God powers?
>>1775053
Yes and no; he existed, but the power was all from God. Moses did not himself have any super powers.
Sure. Why not.
Yes, but his real name was Akhenaten.
Why helicopters?
Why not something less elaborate? Franco just shot everyone or sent them to Russia
>>1774962
>sent them to Russia
I don't think anyone deserves that kind of fate, not even Communists.
>>1774962
He was a rude dude
>>1774962
Nobody would remember Pinochet if he just shot his country's dissidents.
Killing people in an iconic and needlessly elaborate way is how you win eternal glory as a dictator.
Salve, my name is Meximedius.
I’m a 21 year old Ottoman Romanophile (Roman fan for you barbarians). I assemble mosaics and write poetry, and spend my days perfecting my art and reading superior Greco-Latin literature. (Julius Caesar, Cicero, Homer)
I train with my Paramerion every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I started getting tutored in the art of the sword 8 years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak the languages of the Roman Empire fluently, both Latin and Greek, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Roman history and their Corpus Juris Civilis, which I follow 100%
When Orban is done building my cannons, I am invading Konstantiniyye to crown myself the Casear to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an architect for Hagia Sophia or a mosaic designer!
I own several laurels, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Rome, so I can fit in easier. I salute my elders and seniors and speak Greek as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in Rome!
The byzantines weren't romans, poser
Anyone got the original?
>Mehmet
>Romaboo
Nope
>>In the late summer of 1462, nine years after the conquest of Constantinople, Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror visited “the ruins of Ilion and the traces of ancient Troy” on his way to the island of Lesbos.[2] He was interested in “the tombs of the heroes Achilles and Ajax,” as the “vir doctus et Imbriota nobilis Hermodorus Michael Critobulus” relates in his History , [3] which he had written before 1466. Kritoboulos continues that Mehmed praised the heroes of Antiquity for having found the poet Homer as their panegyrist (Kritoboulos himself obviously could not come up to these expectations).Mehmed evidently imitated Alexander the Great, who visited the tomb of Achilles and exclaimed: “O Achilles, as a great man you have found a great herald in Homer!” [4] But then the sultan’s speech changed to politics and turned out to be a statement on his ideology and his own role in history:
>>God has reserved for me, through so long a period of years, the right to avenge this city and its inhabitants. For I have subdued their enemies and have plundered their cities and made them the ‘spoils of the Mysians.’ [5] It was the Hellenes and Macedonians and Thessalians and Peloponnesians who ravaged this place in the past, and whose descendants have now, after a long period of years, through my efforts paid the just penalty for their injustice to us Asiatics at that time and so often in subsequent times.[6]
What exactly is Luxembourgism? How is it different from Marxist Leninism?
She looks so fucking Jewish it isn't even funny.

Maybe the number of casualties is different.
Was modernism a mistake?
it was a necessity that responded perfectly to the social, historical, and theoretical concerns of the time. the real mistake was the industrial revolution
No.
SPEED, MACHINERY, VIOLENCE, YOUTH AND INDUSTRY.

>It hasn't gotten better in either class
Fuck me, why do they make history a required course if they're not even gonna teach it right?
Just tough it out till college
>>1774847
Does it get better in college?
God I hope so.
I know how you feel Im from louisiana(we also watched the patriot in 8th grade history lol) nobody here knows shit about history except "the war of northern aggression"
I'd like to start a National Socialist Guatemalan Worker's Party there and then become dictator. The country has been troubled with a lot of corruption recently and in much of its recent past. I suppose the appeal would be solidarity and inclusiveness. There's also a large Christian population there. I'm a Christian too and I think there'd be a lot of support from Christians. In terms of actual activities from party building to actual dictatorship I think there'd be pressure from the U.S. to stop altogether. Post interesting ideas and comments. I don't dislike Jews and wouldn't target even people of African descent and would even let them join the party. I'd just like to make Guatemala a very powerful, rich, educated and scientifically advanced nation with GDP of among the highest in the world.
>>1774621
>hey /his/ help me become a Nazi filibuster
Think your plan through a little, anon, and see where you might encounter problems with it.
I don't even know where Guatemala is even located but you just have to slaughter the drug dealers like that vietnam? president
In order for a far right party to work outside the democratic system you need the following conditions:
1) Lack of satisfaction with present government
2) Neighbouring country that no one in country likes
3) A supposed "fifth column" in your country, typically of an ethnic minority
4) You somehow need links to the military (i.e friends of veterans, you are a serviceman yourself)
5) Be charismatic and focus the party around yourself
If you check most of these boxes then you should have a decent time.
>America didn't lose the Vietnam War, it was a strategic withdrawal
>>1774449
>implying the war didnt do its job in intimidating the ussr
>>1774449
The US pulled out signing a peace treaty that created north and south vietnam.
A treaty which the dirty savage gooks apparently felt could be ignored.
2 years later they conquered the southern territory.
It was strategic loss despite no military defeat due to liberals and jews undermining the war effort from home.
No different than the Lenin approach during the great war.
>>1774529
>A treaty which the dirty savage gooks apparently felt could be ignored.
Because Carter was a faggot and left the South up shit creek. If Nixon hadn't fucked himself things might've turned out differently,
Why none of the early Islamic-era Persian dynasties reverted back to Zoroastrianism?
It would seem sensible - most of the population was still Zoroastrian, you could score some decent PR by waging a war to reclaim the land for Ahura Mazda. Most Muslims were landowners so you could either expropriate them (thus gaining lots of resources) or made them convert (which would make them apostates from Islam, essentially forcing them to fight to the death).
It is even more weirder when you consider that at least some Muslim rebels in Christian areas did revert to Christianity after gaining some ground - for example Umar ibn Hafsun who led a rebelion in Spain.
Why don't you ask them, OP?
>>1774395
Because they were Muslims OP, do you not know how zealous these people are?
>>1774395
Except several were Zoroastrian. Its not until the early 11th century that Iranians were majority nominally Muslim.
Who were the bad guys in the Peloponnesian War?
the spartans
>History is divided between good guys and bad guys
The only bad guy is your mother for not preventing this fucking thread by swallowing you instead.
The Athenians for heavily taxing their allies to fund the rebuilding of Athens and then being a dick by using their giant navy to enforce city states from leaving their alliance.
Why does this passive shithole exist? Why aren't we tearing it apart?
Had the kaiser won WW1 more than 50% of this abomination would have returned to the germanic bosom of the motherland, the rest of this abomination would have fallen apart very quickly since it's completely artifical
