I doubt the Allies would have concluded a separate peace for exactly this reason and it would have lead to an incredibly awkward and convoluted multilateral discussion of peace between the Allies, Germany and the USSR. The whole "western betrayal" concept that is still strong in eastern Europe even today could be even stronger if the Allies would be willing to sell them out in this scenario.

By 1944, the war was a foregone conclusion and Stalin wouldn't be willing to let his potential spoils go.

For instance, Keynes, the main debunker of the basic tenets of the labor theory of value, still admitted that the rate of investments offered by banks and therefore opportunities (supply curve) met the rate of investments, there would the equilibrium point be for the rate of interest. And if the new supply of opportunities offered to save your money doesn't change with it, that means a lot of other ridiculous shit had to happen, like the marginal efficiency of capital had to change at just the right rate with the rate of consumption to investments out of income. And the length of the production cycle being longer or shorter depending on the change had to effect the rate of investing as well.

All of these impact the supply and demand of investments and in the supply/demand curve of the interest rate, THIS slew of complex causes/effects is why the classical theory of economics is thought impracticable.
