What is Asian American history like and how can we, as white people, learn more about it in a respectable way?
Supposedly Asian American men are extremely popular among all groups of women for their masculinity, how did this happen?

If the Eastern/Latter Han Dynasty can be the legitimate continuation of the Western/Former Han, why can't the Eastern Roman Empire/Byzantine Empire be the legitimate continuation of the Roman Empire?
>>2591851
because latter and former han spoke the same language and had the same religion/culture
Because the only people that deny the Eastern Roman Empires legacy are contrarians looking for (you)s
>>2591855
This, but also many argue it is a continuation. Usually they're the same people that say there was no collapse of the WRE.
How did the Asian colonies manage to pick themselves back up after the end of imperialism, but the African colonies didn't?
America helped a lot in places like Korea and Taiwan after they got independence from Japan.
Hong Kong was kept in British hands for very long and work was put into it ensuring some degree of success.
Singapore has a good position and good leadership has turned it into the economic great it is today.
Not all is good though, the Middle East and South Asia is really messy still and the Soviets didn't leave Central Asia in the best state.
Basically good development from colonial masters, foreign help and leaders being willing to take on the reigns of leadership and properly manage a country.
>>2591816
They started in very different positions.
Asian colonies were already well established nations.
Africa was literally just tribes or very early civilisations.

Here's one interesting paper.
So if the American wild west spawned an entire genre of fiction, then why didn't Russian cossacks also do the same?
People in the wild west were at least literate to some degree.
>>2591129
Who is to say that they haven't?
How much shitty russian fiction are you willing to sort through to find out?
>>2591129
there is plenty of Russian fiction out there, it just isnt in popculture.
as to why its no in popculture. refer to berlin wall, and the USSR. Basically anything pro Russia was cut off from American Homogenized society up until just ever so recently.
not to mention, what better way to raise moral and patriotism in American than to make it look like the population's forefathers were rugged cowboys who wrestled bulls and shot single 44 cal. handguns without flinching?
You wonder why American is renown for BBQ and and country music? The western frontier is the answer.

the problem wasn't that the germans went through the forest and the french thought they couldn't. the problem was that the french army was organized and used like it was still a ww1 army. so the very large and modern french army was unable to properly counter attack.
De Gaul warned them and even wrote the book on blitzkreig. If the french army was lead by him between wars. It would have been able to beat the German Army back across Belgium.
WOODROW WILSON
Wilson sucks. Just get a feel for the things he set in motion. I want it to be common knowledge that Wooodrow Wilson is in fact the worst.
He's generally ranked in or just outside of the top 10 by most historians and presidential scholars.
>>2591054
He ranks right next to Obama The Great.
Excluding the incumbent, some order of Fillmore, Tyler, Buchanan, A. Johnson, Hayes, Coolidge, Hoover, Reagan, Bush II.

Were the Romans really white? The Aeneid says that they came from Troy (Asia Minor) so IMO they were Asian. Plus there was the Byzantine obsession with effeminate court rituals, as noted by Gibbon. And Byzantium/Constantinople is in Asia.
Romans were native to the Italian peninsula. The supposed Trojan origin was just a foundational myth. Early Roman history is filled with myths and allegories not to be taken seriously, like the one regarding Romulus and Remus being raised by wolves. For fuck's sake, even a man like Caesar claimed with a straight face that he was descended from the goddess Venus.

It's gotten to the point where some tumblrinas went full We Wuz about Niggers being the Hebrews despite the lack of evidence from genetics. Like how polfags go We Wuz about Egypt.
Well what does the genetic evidence tell us?
Should be easy to disprove both sides with the truth.

But right looks better. Not seeing your point, OP. Are you a pleb who thinks art can only be measured by how realistic it looks?
Let's talk about Ireland. A tiny, irrelevant little island on the edge of Europe but I'm sure somebody has some information that makes them worthwhile.
We all know about Collins, arguably one of the greatest rebels to ever live, but what else? Any famous irish leaders, warriors, etc both on and off the battlefield?
Is there a place in the world for irish national pride?
>Any famous Irish leaders?
Here, have this quick rundown

No,I cannot accept this.
>In b4 meming about him fighting 'Vikings'
>In b4 stories about how they totally would have unified Ireland, if he hadn't died unexpectedly at the tender age of 73
>>2589754
I just wish that Rome took over Ireland. Then their history would probably be more interesting.
Brainlet here. Why is there Indo in Indo-European language family? If so is persian related to for example english or swedish?
Aryans

Yes, Persian, Hindi, etc. are all distantly related to English.
What is your favorite school of economics and are you a Geoist?
Mine is Keynesian and I'm a Geoist.
>>2589052
Ecological. The theory, empirical study and analysis of economic systems, networks,(evo) games In relation to the material(socio-ecological) world that the economy feeds off of.
Capitalist markets need to go, I'm in favor of a mutualist economy where the means of production can be possessed in a egalitarian and individualistic manner, but are managed, and allocated teleologically with applied science to unsure sustainability and optimization
>>2589119
Sure but systems have to be arranged so that we're rewarding people for hard work and efficiency. There are some very salable effects of markets on economic and moral behavior. Not everything should be subjected to a market though, and different markets work better under different circumstances.
The comment you made on individualist behavior is important, because independence should be rewarded under a system of capitalism or any other similar system.
Socialism is always interesting. I still have yet to read some literature on the subject but the socialism proposed by Gesell looks interesting. Mill entertained the idea of socialism in his principles.
Anyway, your stance on Geoism sir?
economics can't be detached from politics and ethics. Post-Marxian economists have forgotten this. I quite like the Scholastics and Physiocrats, but in terms of modern econ, I like network economics somewhat, the Santa Fe group included in the several volumes of "the Economy as an Evolving Complex System", and the critical realists.
I'm thinking of just dropping into Economic History @ masters because I can't handle how much of a joke modern economics is.
