Is there a reason they stopped making the 780 ti ages ago but the 750 ti is still around?

How much faster is the 1070 than a 780ti?

Probably about 50 to 60% I guess.

So, there's this Linux Filesystem for Windows, thing. It's only on the beta version of windows, but it looks like it can easily replace cygwin, MSYS, flinux, virtual machining, etc.
I heard it's like anti-wine, and at the moment it only runs ubuntu.

I suppose when it is more mature, different distros will get through, and maybe it could be ported off windows 10 to windows 8 or 7?

So, what do you think?
Will this feature be popular, is it shit?

>Linux filesystem for Windows
>only runs on Ubuntu

I hate to be all pessimistic, but someone has seriously fucked-up on this one. I mean getting it to run on Windows first and foremost would seem the most logical direction to take. Especially considering how most, if not all Linux distros have the capability of using a Linux filesystem already.

So uhh... Whats wrong with CS again? I feel like it would be a worthwhile degree and would give me plenty of spare time to work on side projects as a hobby while attending school. Whats your take on CS as a degree?
I would love to self teach but the only way i could support my self with my high school diploma is to work a full time job not leaving much freetime to pursue that goal.

This is all assuming you actually have a passion for coding and would work hard to further yourself through education.
Pic is unrelated, just some spam i was cooking up.

Literally nothing is wrong with cs. Anybody that tells you otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about

If you judge a degree purely on employability and potential earning like some sort of autistic there are better options.

It's perfectly fine as an academic field though and if you do it at a decent uni it will be interesting and rewarding.

More significantly than specs, though, is the fact that the TaihuLight is built from Chinese semiconductors. "It’s not based on an existing architecture. They built it themselves," Jack Dongarra, a professor at the University of Tennessee and creator of the measurement system used to rank the world's supercomputers, told Bloomberg. "This is a system that has Chinese processors."

The previous fastest supercomputer, China's Tianhe-2, was built using US-made Intel processors. There were plans to upgrade the Tianhe-2, but last year, the US government placed an export ban on all high-performance computing chips to China. The US Department of Commerce said that exporting such technology was "acting contrary" to American national security, and suggested that an earlier Chinese supercomputer, the Tianhe-1A, had been "used in nuclear explosive activities."

China's investment in high-performance chips and supercomputers in recent years has been significant and effective. In 2001, there were no Chinese supercomputers in the world's top 500 ranking at all. Now, there are 167 entries — more than even the US, which has 165. The development of the TaihuLight was funded under the so-called "863 program," a government project aimed at ending reliance on foreign technology.

I cancelled an ATA secure wipe on my 1TB HDD because I realized I had the wrong mnemonic written down for my $1400 BTC wallet.

Is there any way to recover the home partition where I had the mnemonic saved in a text file? When I boot into a LiveCD I get flooded with messages like: ata1.00:
