etc.

Everything has problems. There is not one single tech related thing that doesn't have some sort of fatal flaw that undermines the whole thing.

Is this just the nature of life? I dunno I just needed to rant.

Because the internet isn't free anymore.
Also infested by brainless normies.
There is close to 0 originality on the internet anymore.
When I was a kid browsing internet was like an adventure, you never knew what you'd find today - a meth cooking guide, fart poem site, some new cool flash game or an official site of islamic terrorists with a comfy IRC chatroom. Not even going into the BBS and fidonet.

Now it's just a dozen of corporations holding power over the internet, filtering and reporting what they find inappropriate and millions of brainless normie lemmings who do the same.

It's all just bland and tasteless.

Okay /g/, I am having an issue with a program that records how many times it was launched and after a certain number of launches it locks itself. I've tried running it inside Sandboxie but somehow it still manages to keep track. What should I look for to defeat this ticker?

>>56605358
Good idea but it doesn't work like that. This program actually has a registry entry for the install date and I actually set it in the future, but it doesn't change anything. It doesn't count how many days you've had it, it counts how many times you've launched it. The program is Soundplant btw.

How come they fail this so often at delivering their products? All they have to do is a simple test on a couple of machines with different connections. Fucking crazy.

Why are phones so pointlessly thin?
Why can't they make phones that are normal size and just use the extra space for more battery capacity?

Phones have perfectly fit into pockets for more than 4 generations.
I don't need a smaller or more powerful phone, I need more battery and storage.

phones stopped being about functionality for normies many years ago, now they're fashion statements. They're conspicuous consumption for the middle class.

is there a way to limit audio like when watching a movie on my PC?

When im watching a movie sometimes the volume just randomly spikes up and its annoying

>>56604444
Check to see if you can enable dynamic range compression on your media player. It will level things out so that the louder parts and the quiter parts share a similar volume level. It's often called 'night mode' on some TVs and AV receivers.

https://wiki.videolan.org/VSG:Audio:Normalization/
>>
>>56604615
Normalisation isn't the way to go, all it will do is raise the loudest part of a soundtrack to maximum without the it reaching a point where it clips (distorts). It won't do anything for the dynamic range (the difference between the quietest and loudest parts of the soundtrack). As mentioned >>56604573, compression is the way to go.

This is the Edimax EW-7811Un. It's $9.

Does anyone own it? How does it perform? Does it have good range?

Probably poorly

since its basically got no antenna, pretty poorly unless your fairly close to a router.
