Yeah, use the hidden volume - that way if you have to give up a password you can give one, and just fill it with some porn or something. There's no way they can know there is a hidden volume within with another password.

Also, rename the file to a .iso or something and give it a suitable icon and bury it on the drive.

1. Invest some projects
e.g. calculator, simple compiler, tetris game, sudoku
2. Invest in more projects
e.g. open source projects, drivers, reverse engineer something, wrapper for an important/requested library from/to C.
3. Perhaps do some research and read import educational parts in Unix or Linux kernel, DOS etc...

You can usually run programs with this:
cd ~/directory_of_program
chmod 755 executable_program_that_ends_in_x86_64
./executable_program_that_ends_in_x86_64

Or if you use the software manager GUI program, you should have an icon in the start menu.
