what's route towards a non-touch screen 3G keyboard phone specifically for web browsing, alongside sms/call? Touchscreen is a worthless gimmick but the market for new dumb phones seem to be just catered to seniors/"internet detox" freaks. all I want out of extra features on a portable device is high productivity web browsing - have there been android/cyanogen ports for all-keyboard browser apps like vimperator? I think there are some older dumb phone models running android.

Just get a BlackBerry Classic, it has a touchscreen but you've also got a keyboard and trackpad to work with.

Is this a good start:
Basic personal security (TOR, VPNs, proxies, HTTPS, encryption)
HTML, PHP, CSS, Python or C?, Cookie Hijacking, phishing, social engineering, botnets, IRC, DDoS/DoS

Are Chromebooks shit or good?
I'm in the search of a new laptop for college and the Chromebook's operating system caught me attention.
Get one then install gentoo.
>>57778036
Chromebooks can be pretty good depending on what you get
Chromebooks are great for creating/editing documents in either MS Office or G Drive, editing photos, and normal web browsing. Not too great for gaming, making music or editing video. They're a bit underpowered most of the time unless you buy a more expensive model like the HP Chromebook 13.
I got an HP Chromebook 11 (G1) and I fucking love this thing. The battery life is fantastic and it somehow managed to get even faster and more stable as time progressed. Also the trackpad is something else, especially for a laptop so cheap. Also the speakers on this thing are God-tier. I'm surprised HP didn't use them as a selling point. I've had it for 3 years now and it's showing no signs of giving up on me.
Musicians please help.
I'm recording my voice in Audacity through an audio interface. I can't hear my voice through the headphones, but I can hear sounds and when I record I can hear the playback. I just can't hear my inital voice.

O-ok, I guess...
Every time i visit the YouTube frontpage and Trending tab it's full of normie garbage. Why does Google have a monopoly on internet videos? Is there some sort of decentralized YouTube technology out there without this sort of crap? Where videos can't be taken down by copyright trolls and you don't get movie trailer ads shoved down your throat...
vimeo
tumblr
vid.me
mediagoblin
literally none of these have a chance of taking on youtube though, not one.
i would say vimeo is the best out of this list though.
you're better off staying on youtube. you don't like it because you haven't learned to delve past the surface - it is a great platform, you just need to bookmark videos/channels you like, and in the suggestions you'll see related videos. i know that sounds vague as hell, but its totally true. that is how it works.
i don't use an account or have storage enabled on my browser - so i have to make sure i keep those channels and videos bookmarked
OP you're literally a fag, just type in a topic you'd like, pick the best-looking video, then go to its suggestions. that should be enough for a few hours
also, dailymotion was cool once, but they really suck now
>>57777741
Why not just put channels you like into an RSS reader?
Google treats YouTube as more of a pet project; They own it on paper, but Google doesn't actually do anything to regulate YouTube's behavior, which is why YouTube is so shit. Google owns YouTube, but it's really distant and tries not to interfere.
What third party launcher works best with the galaxy s7? Or am I better off sticking with this TouchWiz bullshit?
nova prime. Plus you can do backups so if you ever need to wipe it you can just restore all of the little oddities if need be. As someone who just had to do a wipe of their phone it was really nice.
>>57777548
This
Works perfect on my s7

Don't forget to apply for the beta too with Nova. That way you can make it look more stock.

A javascript exploit was again used to de-anonomyze Tor users. Only affected Windows users.
It sent the hostname, username, MAC address and public IP to a server located in France (5.39.27.226)
Blog post about the patch:

If you are this retarded running Tor, I think you should just go ahead and kill yourself
If you had to select a collection of individuals who work in the tech industry today who know full well the exact processes, methods and means used by governments to spy on the population (Perhaps even hired by them);
Who would you pick?
roger dingledine and jacob appelbaum
they know how to run a spy network really well.
