Well for a start

And secondly if you ever want any hope of help it's better if you describe the problem
"You get queries [in China] that you just wouldn’t get in the United States," Ng explained. "For example, we get queries like, 'Hi Baidu, how are you? I ate noodles at a corner store last week and they were delicious. Do you think they’re on sale this weekend?' That’s the query." Ng added: "I think we make a good attempt at answering."

Where will you be when Baidu BTFO Google?
wut?
Chinese just assume Baidu is sentient. This way they will actually make it sentient.
Just employ an Indian for every Chinese baidu user.
Whats better /g/? I got a new 4kUHD Tv and i want to know which streaming machine will offer the better quality?

I don't think the roku 3 can handle 4k.
I think you need the roku ultra
>>58178726
Bought my Dad the roku for christmas and we tried it out today. I have limited experience with amazon and chrome's but I can't really tell that there's much difference in user experience.
Roku's app is also great, otherwise you have to type searches using the remote control.
Roku also has a slicker and easier to navigate interface

Does /g/ have any good USB C hubs to recommend?
Ideally, I want
>Ethernet
>Power transfer USB C
>HDMI
>VGA or DVI
>USB Ports
>SD slot optional
I figured I'd need two hubs to cover all of these, but are there any particularly good ones?
Doesn't have VGA or DVI.

That looks good. Does the passthrough charging work for the 15" mbp too?
Guess for the VGA I can just get a shitty cheap dongle considering this covers all my other bases.

I want to make simple retropi's and sell them for profit to friends of friends.
How would you guys approach this, Ive never owned a raspi but will order one to tinker with soon.
I would start by inserting them into my posterior
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=56070
Never tried it, but it seems simple enough.
>>58178430
If you can succumb to only RETROARCH you just buy CHIP. It's the cheapest sensible microcomputer you can get.
I would do something fancy though, either 3dprint or buy used NES cartridges and mount CHIP there. Bluetooth CHINK controller (chink general gogo) and you should be sub 25$

The iPod was a success story that brought a quality music platform to the layman. There is little to no demand for this now, and the mobile market is not dominated by Apple.
Anyone else been struck with the Nexus 5x bootloop curse? Any replacement ideas for a phone of similar price?

Alright /g/ lets answer the question once and for all. Is Stallman and Wozniak right about pic related being a Hero?
>>58178082
he was a hero for doing it,
but he was a complete idiot for screwing up his life
He did not reveal anything new. All he revealed was public knowledge and written out plainly in the Patriot act. He could just have pointed out the passages in the patriot act (which is public by the way) and went "hey guys, you know when the government wrote a law saying they would generally spy on the american people and collect sms, phone calls, internet traffic, chat logs and etc. from everyone. They might actually be doing it you know... There is a reason why they made that explicit in the law."
But then again, he might have been viewed as a nut job. But it was not really a secret, making a law allowing it explicitly DOES implicitly mean that the government is going to do it. He did it all for nothing.
He did the right thing.
Why does 4chan run on FreeBSD?

Found the newfag.
Well, computers are essentially different at the lower level. They are von Neumann architectures with memory and registers, and they only perform operations on memory.
Based on this, the main reason is because C took over. We all know the history of UNIX and how it spread. The C way of doing things was the one that prevailed, while the culture of Lisp fucked up in several ways reducing it's marketability.
