Who do we hate this thing again?
I was at the Apple Store two days ago, and I fucking loved this thing. It works amazingly well after the update for Mac OS, and could really have a future in the market once third party developers begins using it.

>t. mactoddler
Bet it doesn't work amazingly well outside of Apple software, it is also still a sign Apple has lost any fucking clue what a professional actual does with a laptop along with the usb c only ports needing dongles to use the same 2 billion usb devices from the last 20 years. If you buy this thing, you are Apple livestock.
It's been like that for the entire day now
Yesterday it updated, restarted and when it tried booting on on win10 it crashed and went back to Win7
Starting to think it's not worth updating at all.
wat do, /g/?
I had same shit updating from 8.1
Last time I tried was a month ago, shit freezed on the login screen
Not worth it
>>58170597

If it's just the glass, I just live with it because I'm apathetic like that. Cosmetic damages never mattered much to me. I buy a new phone every 2-3 years anyway so it won't last forever.
Got a pre-build HP 5 years ago as a present from my papa.
At uni right now so kind of poor.
What is the best upgrade or combo of upgrades I could do for less than $150 bucks?
Tried getting a 750TI couple years ago, but my mobo can only handle legacy cards.
>>58170526
Save up a couple more hundred dollars and buy a chinkpad or build a cheap PC.
>>58170540
So restart?
If I'm gonna do that I'm going all out.
>>58170526
Did you reinstall the os in case of bloat?
Also check bios/uefi for signs of overclocking
So I'm wanting to run CAD programs and possibly steam games. Just bought this. How did I do?

What programming language is this? And what is it supposed to do?
>>58170460
Kind of looks like an artist's retarded impression of Go. Not sure tho, famalam
>>58170460
Looks like code from a later version of the Ada programming language. I'm only familiar with what is now known as Ada83. It was just "Ada" when I learned it. Apparently they introduced OOP crap into Ada for Ada95. I believe there are Ada2005 and Ada2012 versions now.
"string_test.go"
I wonder what language this could be

Super noob question,
can I use a display port to hdmi cable to extend my monitors?
I only have one hdmi output on my card and I'd like to extend my monitors so I can watch a movie on one and game at the same time on another.
Thanks in advance, saves me buying something that I can't use.
Never used a display port output before is all, any comments are appreciated
or is DVI the way to go for extending displays?

So I haven't operated a tape deck in a over ten years and I'm having an epileptic retard moment. I just got my hands on a deck and speakers but; do i need a receiver? Is it required or can I just hook shit right to the deck.
I hope these speakers aren't just blown I looked everywhere for them. I don't ebay if I can help it.
pic not my deck, just the first thing i saw on google.
Yes, you need a receiver to connect your tape deck to something else, especially speakers. They were always designed to be piped through a receiver.
Receivers were the hubs of everything 1970 - 2005. And only they have the output amps to drive speakers.
t. old fucker
>>58169833
>1970 - 2005
Pretty much even after that, what are you going to use to power any HiFi speakers nowadays? Same shit, unless you're going full audiophile and are buying some preamp/processor and separate power amp(s).
>>58169771
>do i need a receiver
Yeah, at least an amplifier of some sort. Or a pair of headphones if you don't want speakers.
Year of the Linux Desktop. And this time for sure!

And miss out on the year of the Linux Desktop? No way!
We missed our chance back in 2013 for the year of the Linux desktop. Now it's just going to be as obscure as always.
