Oh shit /g/ please fucking help me, i lost all of my precious porn.

I got this external hard drive and whenever i try to connect it to my pc the light turns on but it's not recognized,
I can actually see a generic "local disk G:" but as soon as i click on it the loading bar gets to a certain point and then it freezes.

I've tried with other pcs and other cables but it's the same. Any way to repair it?

Also i actually have different hdd which are broken but i would be interested in retrieving some of the files. Is it possible? I'm not really experienced with fixing these things.

- can't run multiple livestreams smoothly even with e10s enabled
- constant hangs and slowdowns
- every update makes it sjwier
- most addons are broken thanks to e10s
- lags behind the blink engine

Only good thing is its tab management. I wish there was a browser that had tree style tabs while not being a lame and buggy piece of shit

Is there any way to get root access on an unlocked phone without installing some hackers closed source rootkit?

I have a website/ftp/email server that use to work, but now gives me a "err_connection_timed_out" when I try to access it on my phone on mobile data.

The server works fine and I can access it from anywhere else including wifi. So I figure the ISP is blocking it for whatever reason and I need to chance my DNS settings, but I can't without root.

Any ideas?
I don't like the idea of just trusting a hacker to root my phone for me and not do anything bad.
