I have an HP Stream 7 that I mostly use for cutting lines on these days. I do actual shit with my iPad, windows tablets are crap.

I have an Asus t100 (hybrid) and even as the tablet only part it works well with w10, the intel Atom and only 2gb of ram.

I'm using this right now, the 128gb/4gb version. Yeah, Cuckdows isn't designed for touch input. It kinda sorta works but it's far from perfect. I use it as a netbook most of the time anyway.

Andoid tablets are way better for reading.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad 8 that's still on 8.1, did they neuter all the touch input on 10?

eh, the biggest advantage of having desktop Windows on a tablet is desktop Windows, put a little keyboard and you can do literally anything on it.

I find the touch input of W10 kinda irritating but it seems that is a constant work in progress, the touch experience on 8.1 felt far more polished.

use it with a usb selfpowered scanner to copy stuff at the library. also use it with a usb mini midi keyboard.

I have an HP Envy Note 8.

I don't have any issues using firefox and the onscreen keyboard.

The only minor pain is when I read manga and need to toggle firefox between fullscreen and normal mode.

VN and Anime machine.

Are Windows tablets capable of using a Miracast TV/Monitor/Receiver as an extended display over wifi?

You probably need Intel-based tablets for such a thing, right (Intel WiDi supports Miracast, from what I'm reading)?

I have a cheap one that I used for on the road & in bed VN reading.

It did the job, but it's terrible for anything else, including web browsing unless you're incredibly patient and have a keyboard.

I went ahead and bought a surface 3 and haven't looked back. The atom is surprisingly good enough for anything I throw at it as long as it's not 4k video or gaymen. Neither of which I give a damn about since I have a powerful desktop to do that shit on.

How are browser mouse gestures on a Windows tablet?

I've got Dell Venue Pro 11 (atom, 2gb of ram) (also had Surface2).
2 gb was barely enough to run the system, but after some tunning (disabled defender and search, got rid of some Dell and Intel shit, installed Labrys for start menu) it became rather agile.
Using it as dedicated doc / mail reader, for sketching (with Fresh paint, too bad Krita still doesn't support high dpi nor touch input), a bit for casual gaming. Also surprisingly it can handle Visual Studio.

Disable windows defender and pretty much any other lenovo and shit windows service. And it may take 30 seconds to load firefox and any other program right after boot before every shitty windows thing is loaded.
