Anyone with a hackintosh build and a GTX970?
What did you do to get the drivers working? I've tried a bunch of times now and it just won't boot when I install NVIDIA web drivers

So after four months Stallman himself finally decided to let go of the Libreboot project. It is no longer part of GNU

Stallman/GNU did the right thing and just abandoned it because the head maintainer Leah whatever her name is highly toxic and crazy.

The real project is Coreboot, anybody can fork that and make a new libreboot by deblobbing Coreboot if they want instead of working with Leah/insane people who made their money off selling laptops with preinstalled libreboot.

WhatsApp sold for like 7 billion or something and it's a simple chat program. In fact at one time it was just a FreeBSD box with 2 million concurrent connections going and a pile of Erlang.

The reasons these sites are worth so much is they have hundreds of millions of users, not how simple they are at first glance.

Gooks made similar quality products for a slight discount. Then the chinks started making really cheap but still decent quality products. The japs have just been struggling to find their niche again.

If any of you have an android phone, you know how useful these things are. For those who don't have one, it's a 16gb flash drive that has a port for USB and Micro USB which is super useful for copying files and pictures. For less than 5 bucks, this thing is so useful.

I very sorry you no like post. Please leave feedback to improve customer support.

I've never built a PC before. I have no idea what I'm doing.

So far I've picked out a mobo and a cpu that I think are compatible. Now I'm trying to find the ram.

mobo: MSI Z270 GAMING M5
cpu: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz
ram: ???

I want 32gb. But It needs to be DDR4 Z270 and 3800 or 3600. I can't find any anywhere.
Or I really just don't understand what I'm doing.

Ideas?

And I'm the dumb cunt.

Thanks for the help.

I would buy a 6700k instead and save a few bucks if I was you. But depending on your budget, it's fine to stick with what you have.

Anyways, be sure to get at least 8gb of ram.

Next, is the drive. I recommend (heavily) that you invest in a SSD of at least 250gb. I always go with Samsung, so I suggest going with them. A SATA lll SSD will do fine. It'll be plenty fast, unless you feel like going even faster and blowing some money on a m.2 SSD.

Since you're CPU is high-end, I will suggest you buy at least a GTX 1070, GPU. If you want the best, get a GTX 1080.

As for monitor, I'll leave that to you. I prefer Dell ultrasharp monitors, but they're expensive.

Hope I helped

Hey /g/ hows it hangin'?

I recently (just yesterday) bought a new Dell XPS 13 laptop (roughly 1200). Give me some worth-while programs and apps that increase productivity and generally look nicer than what is pre built in Windows machines?

Did you find a basic little task that your operating system doesn't do by default?

Linux:
>write script that performs this basic task
>execute script by typing its path in the terminal
>it's a text file, delete it if you want, keep the <1kb file if you don't

Windows:
>search online for a "thing" that performs the task
>download an exe from cnet or some other website
>specifically tell it not to install Ask toolbar
>look up how to uninstall Ask toolbar
>access program from start menu, find out which folder it was left in
>suspect it's mining bitcoins while it's performing basic task
>have to remember where the "add/remove programs" dialog is in the control panel maze to remove the 50MB program
