I'm hammered as dick lads
Where do I plug these in jej
>>58547549
in your butthole.
Why would you hammer your dick
Also that looks fine just leave it unplugged and turn it on
>i5 6600K
Good choice OP, but if I can tell what chip you have, you might be missing an important part
Are there any iOS devs on /g/?
>>58547543
yes. ask away
>>58547562
How easy is it to port to other platforms?
Just code in C# and deploy wherever you want with Xamarin

Also repostan because I can't be arsed to take new pics... I drank the wine in the kitchen, otherwise nothing changed.

what did you smear on your lens?
Programming language thread..list your top 5 programming language and if you want explain why. I'll start
> assembly
> C
> C++
> python
> ruby
..I really hate java!
>>58547452
>Java
>Java
>Java
>Java
>Java
>C
>C++
>C#
>Java
>GLSL
>why
I generally use C++ more than C but I still believe C is the best language out there. People that say C is dying are retarded, it's not going anywhere for at least another 20 years.
I never understood why people hate Java other than the autistic naming conventions most IDEs suggest you use. It's a generally good platform for beginners and people that want cross platform software written fast.
Java is my first language, and I'm very aware of the problems it has, especially concerning memory.
C# is a good alternative to Java if you don't mind Microsoft's massive influence on the language.
GLSL is my top graphics programming language due to it being extremely similar to ANSI C and my experience with it. It's extremely easy to learn if you're even slightly familiar with C.

I'm applying for a job as a django backend developer (spare me your memes).
I did a short assignment that was rated very positively and I have also shown them loads of my code on github. I have now been invited to an interview and they're telling me there's gonna be 1-1.5 hours of 'technical questions'.
Why exactly do they do this? I have demonstrated successfully that I do in fact have the skills I mentioned on my resume, do they really need to make me write a fizzbuzz and ask me about fucking manhole covers or being shrunk and thrown into a blender? Why is this allowed?
>>58547346
life is a series of tests.
They made these questions to see how much a person sperg out and then hire them based on it.
It is idiotic, but some people do it.
>>58547346
Do not attend
Make them feel the loss of you
>>58547346
What would you do if I answered your question with a question? If you have demonstrated successfully that you do in fact have the skills you mentioned on your resume, why are you afraid of a technical interview? How would you deal with the fact of being unable to self bump your thread? What if I tell you that it has been like this for 4 years? How do you deal with people who sage your thread? I am afraid you're not what we are looking for. Ho!

If any of you have mined bitcoin is this plausible or just autism? I just thought of this while in the gym working my triceps.
is this ancient copypasta?

No I am just being autistic

Just installed Android 7.0 on my Samsung S7 Edge. (Renovate edge ROM 5.0.1)
Degoogled and debloated of course.
Explain to me what the best phone operating system is, and tell me why it isn't Android 7.0 ungoogled and rooted.

Can you please shut the fuck up? What is the point of this thread? You're just going to attract a lot of low IQ iToddlers.

It's not iOS
Nobody uses their computer without the internet anymore. Ask yourself when was the last time you turned on your pc and did ZERO browsing / msging / irc etc.
So my question is: are apple and micronigger going to offer a cloud based OS like google os? Would they ever move over?
>>58547037
> going to
What is "Microsoft Account"
>you often use a few internet applications on your computer
>so let's move EVERYTHING to the internet!
no thanks
there are still plenty of non-networked things I do and I'd still like to be able to do them in the event of internet instability or when travelling
>>58547037
ChromeOS isn't cloud based. There are plenty of things you can do with it without an internet connection.
I have finally installed Debian GNU/Hurd on my pc, i feel so fucking free right now.
What are your excuses /g/?? why don't you use the Hurd? are you scared to be free??
because i don't have an entire life to understand how it works.

>implying freedom of software is more important than usefulness of software
I'll always be willing to give up some freedom if that makes things more convenient
And exactly what advantages would I get from using the Hurd kernel?
Is water cooling a meme?
>Temps are barely a few degrees better than high end air coolers
>the best air coolers can match water cooled performance while staying under 100$ (noctua etc)
>more components that can fail. Tubing, radiator, water pump, etc
>a water leak failure can fuck up your entire system.
>custom water cooled solutions are literally for autists who got bored with buying model trains
I shiggidydiggity hope you guys have not done this, and have not planned to do this
That few degrees difference translates to a higher clock speed, and you can run the system quieter.
>>58547046
Pumps make noise and you still need fans for water cooling. Just buy some noctua fans and you're done.
1 degree higher won't stop you from playing skyrim anon
Lmao, watercooled homos btfo
It's probably really useful if your CPU heats up like a nuclear reactor
I just bought pic rel new, yes 100% new for 250usd. I don't know story but it wasn't refurb, got 2 yr shop warranty.
I couldn't be happier
win 7 pro

Why people buy shitty plastic laptops with 2-3 h battery life

it's 13,3 inch
256gb and 1tb of storage. THIS IS WHAT I WANT, THIS IS WHAT I WILL GET
it's quite heavy, but well build. Last lenovo broke after 4 months of use (motherboard that burned hard drive) and after that i broke hinge and scree.
Lenvo broke after 1 yr. Fucking plastic shit, this is aluminum and is open not like gay macbooks
Welcome to /mmg/, where we discuss mechanical mouses and their advantages over inferior optical shitware.
What mechanical mouse do you use? Rocking an old Microsoft mouse from 1992 here. Rock solid, only needs cleaning every few months when there's too much funk on the ball.

Mechanical keyboards no mechanical mouse. What's next? Mechanical CPU cooler?
