Hello. I am a college student living at home and our old router is starting to deteriorate and thus leaving a bad signal through our house. My bedroom where the wifi must travel to is semi-far away and the walls are thick so the connection is pretty crap anyway. I'm thinking of buying a router (pic related) to set up in my room on my own separate internet network. Here are my questions: Is it possible to have two different routers in one home with separate networks? My room doesn't have one of those ports on the wall that you screw a modem into (forgive me for not knowing what it's called) but can I set it up in here anyway? What would I need to accomplish this if it is possible? Any help is much appreciated.

Life-long PC user here. I want to get into macs because I feel I've been missing out on something pretty good. I've hated macs all my life but after using it here and there I'm a bit in love with it.

I know they're expensive. But I think it's worth it. So tell me, am I going crazy or what? Are macs really that horrible?

What the fuck is going on with my installation of Windows 10? Whenever I go near Groove Music in any way it starts going to shit. When I even look at the option for it in the start menu, it closes it. If manage to start it, it seems to reset explorer and nothing happens. I tried removing it with Powershell scripts but it just won't go the fuck away.

I know this isn't a troubleshooting board but I don't know where else to turn. Anyone know a reliable way to disable default Windows 10 apps?

So I want to learn programming. I love learning it, but I feel like I only get so far because I feel like there is only so much I can do with the little bit that I've learned.

I hate making little practice programs. I want to use my early skills to make something useful and help me go farther.

Advice? Any good proactice that isn't just building a calculator or building a weird number game?
