Some people prefer blackberries, some still use nokia bricks, some get iphones, and finally there's you and the like of you who buy cheap chinese shit and shill in on the internet.
Imagine a pneumatic tube, like you see at a bank drive thru. Maybe one day we'll get so advanced that we can design a massive intertube system that allows us to travel in individual pods. We could step into a closet in our homes, punch in an address, and zoom away to wherever we want, safely and quickly.
Imagine the effect on the ecosystem without cars and roads! Maybe we'd start to see nature creeping back in on us, and we'd live in forest cities.
>>60131893
Nice blog, where can i subscribe?
>>60131893
or everyone could sit a home and not have to go anywhere, it would solve problem of needing roads and cars as well and not have to have stupid tube network for people to travel in

Now that Unity is dead there is no reason to continue supporting the GTK fiasco.

Alright /g/.
cout or printf? Which one is better?
cout ofc
The methodology that allows C's printf library to work the way it does is fully accessible to the user so they may write their own printf library.
It's called stdarg.h.
Good luck figuring out how C++98 overloaded the goddamn >> << operators just to stream bits.

format
Is this still relevent?
Yup. It's lean, clean, and nice to work with.

I'm bored of making crappy games in java.
What's a neat language you recommend that's fun to work with while being good for relatively small game development and general programming?

Does anyone on /g/ work from home?
What are your experiences / advice?
I have the option between more money (and responsibility) but with more hours at an office, or somewhat less money but more flexibility & ability to work remote some part of the week.
finance wise i'm pretty well set, so I don't need more money, but i'm not sure which path is better to take.
How much more money? Working from home is fantastic. Less money spent on transport and eating out.
>>60131365
maybe 7-10k more (pretax), currently making 70k
>>60131365
consider the cost of time wasted in traffic as well
+1 for work from home
