Can anyone help me diagnose what's going on here? It's not a display failure, since you can see every part of the screen displaying fine at one point or another. The UI responds perfectly, you just can't see it. This seems like a GPU problem or something. The video is showing after a factory reset.

With audio:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PcjVURE0Cs

I can actually buy a replacement package with all of the boards, for a pretty reasonable price:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-un55ju6700fxza-uh02-complete-tv-repair-kit-version-2.htm
I'm just trying to see if I can buy one of the boards individually. If I'm not mistaken, I should just replace the mainboard, no?

Battery life is just not a point unless you really need 10 hours away from an outlet or business use. Also those current 15" models at 2-3kg are really not that big.

So why is YouTube the only place to get video content in 2560x1440?

Also, reminder that Dreamcatcher is the best debut group of 2017. A dance video of "Chase me" is available in 1440p.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRW29bBK_oM

And "Good night" is even available in 4k.

W-why haven't we broken this barrier yet?

What's missing?

What's keeping us from unlocking our full gadget potential because of battery problems?

>>
>>60130461
Batteries today are really good. It's just that gadget makers, instead of increasing runtime, decreased the size of the battery.

You could have a smartphone with dumbphone battery life if you made the thing a few millimeters thicker. They won't do that though, because so many normies buy things only on looks.

Why the fuck does Google keep doing this shit? People want their phones to get updates. The primary reason people bought phones like the Nexus is because it meant they wouldn't be at the updating whims of a separate manufacturer who might just decide NOT to update the OS anymore, and now Google's doing the same thing.

It's like they have zero understanding of the people who buy their phones now. They used to have, bar none, the best mid-range phones in the market. Now they're overpriced, have zero expandable storage, and are going to start following the early-deprecation schedule of almost every other phone manufacturer.

>>
They come extremely cheap and management either doesn't care or is too stupid to see their degrees are from diploma mills and their resumes are forged

They have a big outsourcing industry, which motivates them to take up computer science in college, which further expands the industry and the cycle goes on.

Cheap labor, and India is 12 hours time difference so they can be tech support while north America is asleep

My office is flooded with "engineers" who are Indian. I was asked to send someone a command they needed to run, and I foolishly started the statement with $ as is standard when representing that it's meant to run in a terminal window.

I spent half a day debugging why "the command didn't work" when I finally learned he was including the $ in it

They have zero capacity for actual technical understanding. Absolutely infuriating.
