It's a good phone, but I still prefer my 6P.
I seriously hope Google doesn't fuck up the Pixel 2 or whatever they're gonna call it.
I've wanted a remake of my moto x pure for so long
motorola shit the bed and the closest thing to match is the oneplus 3t
but I was *this* close to buying a n6 over the mxpe
>broke my phone over a year ago
>just never dealt with it
>finally got it replaced through the refurbishment program
>mfw
I forgot how good this phone is. Only problem is that the autofocus still sucks.
Why vlc was ripped off f-droid? License issues?

Hey /g/ Ive had my g400 finally crap out on me after 4 years. What mouse should I upgrade to from it?
>>60268473
I got memed and got this some years ago, functionality would be good if it weren't so fucking heavy and big, this pos of shit is massive.
>>60268473
Got a logikek g pro after the dissapointment that was the g402 and don't regret it.
But you have to like smaller mice.

How salvageable is the HP Pavilion a000 from 2004? Apparently the HDD is iffy and don't have a VGA cable to see if it boots. It does turn on though. Can I use the case for a gaming computer?
>>60268304
How do you not have a VGA cable laying around?
Put it back out into the trash
>>60268304
Do you know the exact specs you have?
>>60268304
Nothing is salvageable, it's a nearly 15 year old piece of shit. The only thing that could serve any purpose might be the hard drive for backup purposes, and only if you were so poor that using a cage on a 5400RPM drive that's smaller than what you can get in a flash drive for <$20 is your only option.
>Clover app hasn't added /bant/ yet to the list
Get on it please
Dashchan doesn't have this problem.
Works fine for me

Because you don't need one silly.
Just like Apple does, Microsoft knows what the best packages are for you, and those are the ones you should use. :3

>Cyber Researchers from Kaspersky Lab have openly indicted that NSA has the ability to hide spying software deep within hard drives. A report published by the security software maker in Reuters added that US National Security Agency eavesdrops on the majority of the world’s computers, through s spying software embedded in Seagate, Toshiba, Western Digital and other top hard drive manufacturers.
Old news honestly.

This really.
Trying to figure out x265 settings on Handbrake, what would be the best settings for 480p video (720x480) on x265 to try and hold the source bitrate as best as possible (source peaks at 5000 kb/s)?
>>60267877
just a heads up, hardware acceleration is a meme and will result in shit video.
>>60267877
Just use an HQ preset and change the fps to "same as source" then set the encoder to very slow. It'll take forever and a day to encode, but the result is leagues better than the fast preset, and file size stays down. Also what this anon says is correct. >>60268572 hardware acceleration via the gpu always makes videos look terrible.
And why x265 by the way? Hey not just x264?
>>60267877

Hey /g/, I made a server that can handle all the shit I need it to (concurrent users / dbms etc) but right now I can only access it from telnet / ncat type shit - what's the easiest way to put a super simple website on top of it? (literally like 2 pages, one with three buttons on it and maybe a text field)
>>60267849
If your server is in java, you might be able to use an embedded Jetty server.

Install apache or nginx?

Work part time or on weekends if you can. Or work for money at your school instead of vouchers. If they offer summer jobs it's basically you sitting at a desk and living in the dorms for free and you get paid near min wage I would think.
Is it possible to add Javascript code to a loaded webpage using the Google Chrome inspect element feature?
I know you can "inject" HTML code, but what about javascript?
This is what I'm trying to accomplish:
1. Create a new <div> or <p> who displays a value which is currently available directly in the source that I can see with inspect element.
Example:
I see one portion like this:
<div class="num" id="value1">5614513.08</div>
and the other like this:
<div class="num" id="value2">705770.24</div>
I want to inject a new <div> or <p> that contains the value you get from dividing value2 by value1.
So:
<div class="newclass" id="result">$result=value2/value1</div>
And I want to shove the above right into the HTML.
Any ideas?
Hacking is illegal.
Use grease monkey, or it's chrome equivalent.
>>60267651
>I know you can "inject" HTML code, but what about javascript?
Why don't you try it yorself in the browser?
32gb of commonly used files cached in memory? Yes, please.
My 48gb of memory has purpose now. Caching hasn't been this aggressive in the past from what I've seen.

I'm looking to get a chromebook and install GaliumOS on it. I was wondering what you guys would recommend and what your guys experience with chromebooks have been.
Sleep tight, pupper.

Aside from not having a CD Drive I don't think they are bad.
