Does /co/ prefer stylized art or more homogenous House style
>>87494993
Both have their merits. Definitely depends on the story what type works better
>>87494993
I prefer well drawn art above everything.
>>87494993
I think that it really depends on the tone of the book.
>DC
>Batman anniversary is a year long weekly series
>Green Lantern anniversary gets a bunch of variant covers
>Superman anniversary is a bunch of variants and shit
>Wonder Woman anniversary gets an oversized comic with amazing artists contributing to it
Marvel
>Spider-Man anniversary kills off Peter so that Otto can screw his life over
>X-men are being killed off and now getting arbitrary comics to calm people down
>Fantastic 4 written out of existence
DC really takes care of the their characters or at least does so to boost sales. Why does Marvel shit on their characters so much and never do any special tributes or bonus comics for them?
those characters are white males, shitlord
>>87494361
Because Marvel thinks controversy leads to sales
>>87494361
>Wonder Woman anniversary
Made her a UN representative.
Marvel can't even compete.
How does /co/ feel about Katie Rice?
>>87494245
She's cool.
>>87494309
I'll take Things That Never Happened for 500.
Has an episode ever been so irredeemably shitty it ruined an entire show for you?
CatDog sucked
This doesn't really match the criteria but it is difficult to want tobrewatch Avatar when that episode with the play already exists.
>>87494270
it wasonly okay ranging to boring. I get that others might dissent from my opinions and that's okay.
Any thoughts on this show?
I thought it was pretty charming, and I especially liked that they tried to do something with a female lead besides "signing, eyerolling chore.". I hope they get a season 4, even if 3 wasn't as strongly written as the first two.
Dulcinea was cute, even if her design is off-putting to the point that even as a cat girl nobody draws porn of her.
>>87494108
I feel like they missed a few opportunities with her; like she should've gotten hooked in the gambling episode instead of the world-weary Puss.
I dunno I think the design works okay in motion, she and Puss always look nice when they dance.
>>87494244
I feel like, for whatever reason, the way her skull is shaped bugs me. Her eye sockets are massive around her eyes, and her eyes never seem to sit in them in a way that feels natural. There's just always a lot going on around her eyes that repulses me.
Sometimes, her snout seems off, too. But I do adore her little hair tuft.
What does /co/ think about Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi?
https://youtu.be/1spk-Gl1QRQ
It was fun when the episode actually concentrated its plot on Ami or Yumi.
The manager was just annoying and stupid, and had way too much screentime, for it to be truly enjoyable though.
>>87493919
This. The only memory I have is that episode where the manager is trying that hair growth formula. Can't remember much of the two characters I cared about
>>87493872
Even though I was going through my weeb phase hard when it came out, I enjoyed it for about two minutes before getting bored. It just felt so empty.
>>87493919
Also this, but I found myself not caring about Ami or Yumi either because they were pretty bland.
Is a second season ever coming?
>>87493675
Not with Paige.
>loli Paige will never be seen again
such a shame
they'll replace the slag with Becky
ITT: shitty characters
People are just going to post characters they don't like rather than ones that are actually shitty.
>>87493655
>>87493604
Why don't you like Carmen Sandiego?
>Rejects the Dogma of an ancient order becasue of their hypocrisy and through a higher power seeks to give everyone ever lasting life.
So the bad guy of this movie was basically evil Jesus right?
>>87493476
What? He's not Jesus, look at his face dude.
>>87493476
THE DIMENSIONS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MAGIC
That's not even Jesus.
Dr Strange is about a rich genius who is also a suave arrogant prick
One day, while wallowing in his own hubris, his car blows up and he suffers a horrible debilitating injury.
What follows is months of suffering and self-searching as he slowly and painfully sheds his own self delusions and pretenses. He struggles to free himself from his rock-bottom situation, reforging his character into something greater
But he still makes jokes and one-liners that are inappropriate to the situation, much to the chagrin of everyone around him
Eventually he finds way to artificially fix his debilitating injury, and in the process of trying to perfect this, his genius leads him to mastering something new and revolutionary
But it's not all smooth sailing, as it turns out his mentor was not all that they seemed, and he must deal with this betrayal and the repercussions caused by it
Also there's this spunky little coworker-sidekick-love interest who's constantly rolling her eyes at his quirky antics.
Tony is still an asshole by the end. Point of Dr. Strange is that his entire life is about learning, and by the end he's very much a different person than Tony was at the end of Iron Man.
>(You)
Though I'm sure you'll get more responses in a little bit just be patient.
I must apologize for Mordo. He is an idiot. We have purposely trained him wrong, as a joke.
Why did they have to fucking ruin his outfit?
I don't care whose playing him, they could have at least given him the cape!
>>87493226
Because they wanted him turning evil to be a surprise to the audience, he spent the film running around like that and it would be obvious from the start.
>>87493345
I was disappointed the post credits showed him full evil. I was hoping for more Strong Moral Disagreements but Still Vaguely Friendly for awhile.did anyone else shit bricks at his Staff of the Living Tribunal
What was your first South Park episode /co/?
>FUCK YOU MONGORIANS DON'T BREAK DOWN MY SHITTY WALL
The Jesus versus Santa short.
The first one. Grow some pubes, kid.
Rainforest Shmainforest
So Cyborg Superman just got confirmed. Get hype? Do you think it will be Dean Cain?
It has to be right?
I'm more excited about the possibility of cloning Conner from Mon El bc of the xerox of a xerox of a xerox of a xerox factor

>>87493084
So witch one will it be Zor-el, Jeremiah, or the real hank?
because apparently marvel has forgot what creativity is
>>87492986
>flyguy
> brilliant scientist who got fly powers
> forgets everything every time he wakes up
> copy and paste
> has the ability to teleport but only within a 3cm range
> is able to rapidly teleport himself over and over to move around quickly and "fly"
>Mandela Master
>A man with the ability to alter the way someone remembers something
>This means he can make people remember commiting crimes that they did not do
>Defect
>A defective clone desperately trying to increase his short lifespan
>Uses money from crimes to create a serum that reduces his accelerated aging. However, he constantly has to create serum in order to maintain himself, meaning that he constantly has to commit crimes.
>Red Scarab
A cowardly scientist who becomes an evil super villain bent on revenge against the world for pushing him around. He was inspired by Spiderman and how some of Spidey's greatest powers come from gadgets rather than physical abilities. So he built himself his own suit with its own gadgets to help make up for his physical weakness. Basically the theme of this guy is what if Spiderman never got bit yet still wanted to be super. Being a scientist himself, Spidey relates to the villain a lot more than you'd think, but the Red Scarab refuses to knowledge Spiderman as anything more than another bully using his own strength for his own gain.
The Red Scarab is an ironic character, as despite everything he says and believes of how people use their strengths for evil and self centered reasons, he himself isn't any better as he uses his own strength through the technology he invents for absolutely evil and self centered reasons
Of course, he's also works as a reference to Blue Beetle
So people like dumb comedic superhero movies like <any Marvel movie in the past 5 years> but hate Batman Forever?
Why?
>>87492971
I like it
>>87492971
Forever is better than most marvel movies.
Forever also had a great toyline, cinematography, visual designe and music.
B&R on the other hand is complete shit.
>>87492971
Most people are ok with BF especially knowing it was way darker when filmed and the released deleted scenes show it to be a neon black.
Batman & Robin gets hate.
