GiTS SAC will replace OPM on February 4th. Just what we need, another rerun that has aired a million times.

A new season of Samurai Jack is being made for Adult Swim Toonami. 10 episodes in length, TV14 minimum, set to premier 2017.

Adult Swim is funding two new 6 episode seasons of FLCL. Expected release is late 2017/early 2018.

Ok, last week was shit, nobody was surprised. This week we have huge schedule changes. For Toonami we have Super, Kai Buu and Unicorn starting. Super is a new concept we have never had happen before, it premieres outside Toonami and then reruns right at the start. So let's take this one chunk at a time

It's 8pm premiere was completely unadvertised and brought a million viewers, not bad at all. Time will tell if people prefer that one or the 11:30 one. The 11:30 showing pulled average Toonami viewers with 1.3mil
>Kai
To many people, this isn't "new", but more of an expectation. Even so, 1.1mil viewers is a little weak for a dub premiere
>Gundam
Very poor showing for the first episode. Admittedly the first episode is pretty boring so maybe the next will do better. Interesting note, some ratings sites still list this as IBO.

As for everything else, pretty average. Good news for Jojo, it held an excellent amount of viewers from Kai, a big improvement from last year. Bad news, everything after Unicorn failed to make the top 100 chart. It's early to say, but having a double showing of Super appears to be hurting the rest of Toonami.

Sources say Justice League is a mess. Welp here we go again. Another movie with rumors of production hell that's going to be slammed by the critics, get mixed reviews, and fail to meet expectations.

Why is DC so good at being consistently bad with movies?

>EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros and DC are moving aggressively on a new screen version of Green Lantern. They’ve set David Goyer to write the script with Justin Rhodes for Green Lantern Corps, with Goyer producing and with DC heads Geoff Johns and Jon Berg exec producing. The new version is described as Lethal Weapon in space, and it’s based on a comic book origin story. The focus will be on two characters: Hal Jordan, and John Stewart. The latter is African American. It’s unclear whether the studio would reengage with Ryan Reynolds, who starred in the disappointing first film and is soaring with Deadpool and working on its sequel. They will get a script and move quickly to get a director, so this project now has a beating heart.

No I'm not asking for fanfic ideas here.

What I'm saying is that I notice trend in more recent Simpsons episodes (and some older ones as well). Namely that the writers have this thing with making Bart and Lisa like this kind of bickering married couple or otherwise jokingly suggest that they're an item. Naturally this is done purely for comedy's sake, but it's being done to an almost disturbing level.

For example, I can think of at least two episodes where B&L's entire plot was an excuse to make as many bickering married couple jokes as possible. The first was in that episode where they drive around in a peddling car with Maggie in the backseat and the second one was in the episode where they took care of an ant (the latter episode already containing the infamous "Bart licking Lisa's face" scene.

Also there was that episode where Lisa fakes being a college student and when the college girls ask her if she has any cute guys as roommates, she says "Well, Bart is..." and then goes "No."

Surely there have to be people other than me who've noticed this disturbing trope in the show.

I totaly forgot this was coming out so i just watched the first 4 episodes

Its pretty good it is utterly shameless about what it is and for the most part that really helps it.

They fucked olsen a bit though dont get me wrong i loved his personality and everything but his camera was retarded he is meant to be at least semi professional he should have a proper professional camera

I really liked constintines apperance in particular the bit where he knocked the djins out to most of the audience its just a funny little gag (speaking of gags the elevator gag was great) but to those with knowledge of the character him using force to knock them out instead of magic was a great display of how he prefers to avoid using magic pointlessly.

A bit disapointed no aquaman yet but no flash either so i can tolerate it

One problem i have with the action itself is the way characters movements sometimes stop when they send an enemy flying.
