what the hell
I don't remember this episode.

Didn't Neil Gaiman make a cameo in this episode?
ITT: Shows apparently so bad, even waifus can't entice you to keep watching
>>89078491
I watched this and i don't remember it being that bad.
Everything DC and Marvel shits out for the television or big screen.
>>89078491
pic unrelated
Heathcliff sits by the fire.
truly a feline of wealth and taste
Would Superman Lives have been a good movie?
Nick Cage as Superman sounds so hilariously bad I need to see it.
>>89077972
Thought that was Bizarro on the left.
>>89077972
I bet he'd smile a lot more than Cavill. The idea of Superman having a Nicholas Cage -freakout sounds scary though.
>>89077972
Who would have been the primary antagonist?Queen Bee?
Simplified depictions of humans or human-like entities seem to hold a particular charm for the human eye (or at least us here on /co/) whether we find it attractive or visually pleasing. Perhaps it's because these art styles remove all the visual noise found in the highly detailed realistic anatomy of an actual human face/body and focus solely on the key landmark traits our brains are keyed to hone in on. But, if this were true then why do noodle art styles like Adventure Time hold their own charm? Perhaps it allows us to fill in the gaps of what is shown and what isn't allowing us to subconsciously project our own ideals onto a template.
And beyond simplified depictions, why do character designs that defy the conventional norm (aliens, animal people, fantasy races) hold so much appeal to people?
That said, what are some of your favorite unique character designs and art styles whose aesthetic challenge the conventions of normality & realism?
>>89077739
i disagree with this simplistic view that all cartoons are just simplified depictions of humans. they're all completely different, alien from each other, and most of them are grotesquely ugly to me, while others are so great I feel more connected to them than with real people
>>89077739
Only weird social misfits would find fictional characters sexy appealing.
And those feelings will wither and die once they get with a woman who actually exists
>>89078041
ADMIT IT, /co/.
>>89077700
I am not Steven Universe.
Maybe you cried here too. Admit THAT, /co/.
i didnt even watch this yet
So, if Adult Swim is doing their old 2001 lineup again, where's Home Movies and Aqua Teen?
>>89077637
Wow shocking they don't have room for everything what a mystery
And aqua teen is on weekdays
>>89077637
What aboutInuyasha?
Used to watch it all the time on [AS] way back when. I don't really care for it now, but it just feels wrong not having it on the programming block.
>home movies
Yeh.
>aqua teen
It's not as classic as the others
>Show originally started about a boy and his lighthearted adventures in a world created by a war long ago
>Show then goes into drama territory bringing in many fans
>Show is now predominantly drama and/or psuedointellectiual shit
Why can't a fun show about a boy and his adventures just stay that way with only two or three "deep" episodes a season?
You're the reason why SU has different ranges of shit quality control

Is there a cartoon in recent years that balances comedy and drama well?
i think steven universe is way more convoluted than adventure time
Classic Cartoon Network or Classic Nickelodeon?
How classic are we talking?
Go back far enough and they're both rerun channels for syndicated programming. Though I'd have to give the edge to WB/HB stuff on CN vs. terrible Canadian live action.
In terms of shows that I can watch now, CartoonNetwork.
In terms of which would I rather go back in time to experience, Nickelodeon, because they had a ton of interactive, sweepstakes, open-call for sports shows, and other cool shit for kids. Does Nick even push the slimed aspect of them anymore?
>>89076904
I would rather fuck myself with a dragon dildo than decide which abomination I would rather watch.
Why so few Psychic men
Especially in DC?
>>89076891
Because men don't turn men gay OP
Because men go to the front line and get their hands dirty, bitches are the ones that just stand in the back with their fingers on their tempo not doing anything.
>>89077403
This, and the idea that women are more empathetic and better at communication.
Women are often given powers that don't require them to physically grapple with opponents.
I'm writing a sci-fi story riffing on this where the gene for psychic abilities is on the x chromosome, therefore women are more likely to have them than men.
Which was better?
Bugs Life has a more consistant story and better characters
Antz shows its age but it has the Termite Battle which is arguably the best part of the film.
>>89076607
>that severed head
I just can't imagine the looks on parents' faces when they took their kids to see this.
>watch Antz
>see parents talking to someone new the next day
>"Who the hell is that?"
>get in trouble
>can't watch Antz anymore
Still love the hell out of that movie
Thor's daughter a cute
>>89076456
That movie got forgotten harder than Ted Cruz.
>>89076456
I feel like they were trying to get a Wonderloli vibe but didnt get it right.
But thats just me after browsing /co/
Were they gay?
>>89076396
A better question is why they wouldn't let the tard join in on their gay sex
