Did Korra ruin Avatar?

We'll it certainly ended avatar.

You're probably retarded if you think something good can be retroactively ruined by a separate, bad, thing.
>>89738616
this is true though
>>89738685
it definitely destroyed its legacy
Time once again for more Classic Jughead stories, written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by one-time male model Samm Schwartz. All the delicious filling of an Archie digest, with none of the fatty grease! Stop, look, listen and BUMP every once in a while.

What is your all time favorite superpower? Don't matter how cool, plain, lame, or broken it is. Be honest /co/.
Mine is flight. Nothing fancy, and a bit lame to most, but it is my all time favorite power to have.

Season 3 was stagnation in it's purest form. It has no future.

Japan's hottest new "meme," as the kids like to call them, is the Virgin-killing sweater. I'm sure you have a bunch of /co/ related fanart already, so post em if you got em.
I guess I'll do it myself. I just noticed these are all Disney characters because I guess I follow a lot of Disney fans.
this shit looks so fucking retarded, i hope everyone perpetuating this dies of cancer
>In recent years, Marvel Comics has been suffering a bit of a talent drain. Some have been nabbed by DC Comics, such as Tom King, but that’s not been the rule. Instead it has been Image Comics that has provided a welcoming home for Rick Remender, Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, Matt Fraction, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Jamie McKelvie, Jonathan Hickman and more, while they’ve had to share the likes of Jeff Lemire, Jason Latour, Nick Spencer, Mark Millar, Warren Ellis and Kieron Gillen (a number of whom haven’t been interested in Marvel’s superhero books for a while now.)
>The dilemma has been that Marvel creates stars, or rather gives comic book creators the opportunity to make big names for themselves on the back of Marvel’s familiar characters – only to see them use this newly found fame to publish their own titles through Image which that own, can turn into movies, sell toy rights, translate into foreign languages – and even if they don’t sell Marvel numbers, they get paid a lot more.
>Marvel have been better at getting the big name artists tied down, but much of the fanbase seems writer-driven right now. Marvel does have Brian Bendis and Dan Slott to themselves, Ta-Nehisi Coates has provided a big “get” and there is much hope for Al Ewing, but Image and DC have been swinging bigger ones of late.
>Well, I am reliably informed that Marvel is planning ahead of a charge. Taking time to line up big-name talent, new and old, across the board for a series of big name titles in 2018, to be created well in advance to avoid the shipping issues that can often affect such in-demand creators.
>And planned to coincide with a year already full in the cinema with Deadpool 2, Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War, New Mutants (probably) and a Spider-Man Animated Movie.
Who are you hoping for Marvel to bring back, /co/? And I mean anyone, doesn't have to be one of the people mentioned above.

YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE FUTURE
Spencer on suicide watch!
Marvel should try hiring editors who know what the fuck they're doing and not just back-slapping pals who feed bendis and co. egos.
How the FUCK has she of all characters become DC's flagship female protagonist? I've seen this development unfold over the years myself with my own two eyes, but I still can't make sense of it.
Shouldn't she be the mascot character for those TCC sluts or something, instead of a quirky protagonist being played totally straight? Yeah, she's suffered abuse in her origin (like literally EVERY OTHER major bat-villain), but the big difference with her- is that literally every bad thing that has ever happened to her has been her own fucking fault. Her whole motive for becoming a costumed villain, occasionally comparable to The Joker, has been "because she wants to".
>How the FUCK has she of all characters become DC's flagship female protagonist?
Women like her because, unlike the inhibited, covered up and bitchy alternatives getting pushed onto them in comics, she represents the freedom to do anything they want, dress sexy if they want, have wild times if they want and she has an bad boy/girl in her relationship. She's the embodiment of freedom of expression and fun, which is what most women really want. Men like her because she's attractive and quirky. Throw in a bit of nostalgia for the cartoons and there you go.
Arkham Asylum gave her a gigantic boost in popularity and recognition

I will never forgive this. Let's turn Joker good next, why the fuck not. Riddler too. You know who'd make a great anti hero and role model for 12 year old girls? Charles Manson! And John Wayne Gacey too why not.

25 years ago a bunch of Marvel artists left the Big Two and decided to form their company, with blackjack and hookers. This company would eventually become the closest to a third competitor for DC and Marvel (lol) and the best known creator-owned comic book company out there.
This week it's time to put the spotlight on the "second wave" series, those books that weren't created by the founders but still managed to be an important part of the company's history.
First up is the story that went against all expectations, Sam Kieth's The Maxx
It's been fifteen years since I first came across Maxx and I STILL have no clue what the fuck is up with his face.

where is she if not the beta kindergarten then?
and the theory is that she went to help out with the beta kindergarten but was caught in a cg raid on the beta kindergarten that intentionally forced the beta gems to be born early, before lapis could help out, so that they'd be fucked up and unprepared and easier to kill, which is why bismuth was there and all the jaspers around her had shitty spears and were dropping like flies

If I wanted to watch a gunman with gadgets, I'd watch something else. Such a disappointment...
>>89730963
Right, because removing one thing that was crucial to that character is a good idea.
Sure he will get it back someday but it was so crucial that I cant believe they actually took it from him. It will be boring as fuck to watch him getting his sword back for 75% of the season.
No hopes for any cool sword fights

He could pick up some other swords along the way.

When I was a kid I thought the episode of Ed, Edd, and Eddy where they turn Johnny into the most annoying creature on earth was the most hilarious thing ever.
I was rolling on the floor for the entire episode.
I remember a good portion of EEE spilling my guts with laughter.

Iron Fist Trailer.
Gotta say, it feels a lot...brighter(?) than the other Netflix shows. I mean, there seems to be a lot more color and a more CW feel to this trailer than the rest of the Netflix stuff. I kind of welcome it, cause DD, JJ and LC all seemed to blend together in terms of tone. Though it could be because they are all about NYC.
FFFfffffuck! brb watching.
