I work in CN's IT department (you dont have to believe me), and I work on CN app layout design along with three others (as a subgroup). I have nothing to do with CN's scheduling and what it works out with Time Warner, but I asked my manager about the odd scheduling and this is what I was told:

Steven Universe is a lore heavy show (or "storydriven" as my boss put it) and therefore lacks "replay value". The network intentionally airs little SU because it's already seen the future seasons of the show and management has already pre-determined which episodes will get high ratings and which ones won't. The townie episodes as of late contribute to the overall story minimally, but don't make sense without prior viewing of previous episodes and understanding of the overall plot. SU's target demographic (10-13) along with the network's (5-13) largely wouldn't be able to comprehend episodes that are townies, boring and connected to the plot. (CN knew this for a while, this is why anime was regulated to Toonami on Saturdays) Therefore, CN airs these usually once a week, without any orders to us (IT, specifically the graphic designer division or the employee who runs the twitter account (he's an SU fan)) to do promos.

However, the network does plan (and did with the Space Arc and New Crystal Gems) to air many promos and online ads targeting SU's unintended older draw (you) to watch on TV or the App as part of their online launch. (Yes, they're looking into live-streaming as well).

So that's the deal. Teen Titans Go and Gumball take up like 50% and 35% of the schedule respectively, because those shows make stand-alone episodes that are enthralling for the demographic. SU's kind of in a snooze period with episodes that are uninteresting. When the cool episodes about lore come, CN stockpiles those eps. (bomb-format) with standard TV promos and usually Peridot twitter take overs.

TL;DR CN ISN'T TRYING TO KILL SU, IT JUST KNOWS WHEN GOOD EPISODES ARE COMING, JUST LIKE YOU.

As a guy who likes every Superman movie, including MoS but excluding Superman 3 and 4 outside of Reeves' performance, I like this movie, and wouldn't have minded a sequel.

This had a ton of not muh stuff in it too though, like Superboy. Does /co/ hate it or what?

Agents of SHIELD is now in its fourth season. The show will continue to expand the MCU but probably not effect it in a big way.
This season, we have 3 "arcs" making up the season. So far, we've gotten the "Ghost Rider" arc which included Robbie Reyes Ghost Riding around town, "LMD" arc in which everyone is a robit and now we're in the Framework aka "HYDRA" arc.

I really wanted to dislike him, but guys, Gerard Way is actually pretty awesome. I fucking love YA and everything that comes with it.

Why is All-Star Superman praised to high heaven? I just finished it and it was very lackluster. It seemed way too rushed, it should of taken place in it at least 20 issues.


It had good parts, the feels of
zibarro and then the superbot guarding the fortress alone

and funny parts bizarro Batman being shot by his parents

But as a whole it seemed sloppy and messy and only good on paper

Now that it's established that the O5 that came to the present are from an AU, why the hell don't they backtrack on the Iceman thing? They can keep the younger Bobby gay, but have the original 616 one go back to being straight. I mean that would be a pretty good compromise. It's not the same character, so progressives who erroneously argue that homosexuality is biological can't hold a candle. Just look at mainstream and Ultimate Colossus. Or even AU characters who are different races. There is no reason to tarnish both Bobbys.
