r-remember me guys ?
I remember all the /frz/ autism and how they made their own chan when they got banned from /co/.
holy fucking shit
>>91232851
Snowchan was closed & eightchan /frz/ is just recently dead too.
Judging from the threads here it seems we have a lot of /co/ anons that went to school for cartoons or animation or just art in general. So how was/is your school? Did you learn a lot? Were your teachers good or bad? Do you have any stories about THAT guy that went to all your classes?
Back when I took a general arts course we had a legitimate autist that did Thomas the Tank paintings for all his assignments. I wish I could say he sperged out in class or anything but honestly he was just really quiet all the time and his paintings weren't half bad.
>>91232492
well good he didn't. that'd be embarrassing for everyone.
>>91232492
Teacher was incredibly biased against everything but he's specific style of drawing. American cartoons and comics were "consumerist trash". Japanese manga and anime was "all the same". Disney and Pixar were the devil, basically, that killed the animation industry in his own words. Videogame designs and animations "had no artistic merit whatsoever".
As you can imagine, he was a pretentious douchebag. However, the class decided to troll him, hard. We all drew sonic ocs for one assignment, causing him to go fuming outside the room. He started a beef with a guy for his drawings of anime OUTSIDE the class work, on his own project besides doing the assigned work as intended. He shows him different drawing and animation styles, Berserk, One Punch Man, Gurren Lagann, Jojo, One Piece, Junji Ito etc... to show different drawing styles and proportions, as well as overall tone. He mantains it's all the same.
Guy seriously recomends him to watch an anime called "boku no pico" at home. The rest of us weebs try to hold laughter; The teacher didn't speak to him once since that day.

>Guy seriously recomends him to watch an anime called "boku no pico" at home
The absolute mad man
Does /co/ like marie?
This version only, get your filthy /aco/ shit outta here
I do
>>91232437
This version is cool too
I have a question for y'all. If the market is really rejecting minorities, how are these two outperforming more famous characters? What did Humphries do right?
>>91232179
The same reason current Thor and Ms Marvel out perform their predecessors.
The market isn't rejecting minorities.
>>91232179
Green Lantern is a popular brand in comics even if they aren't the best sellers like they were under Johns.
>>91232179
Because they're characters and not mouth pieces.
taken from reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/DCcomics/comments/632w1q/i_was_at_the_tom_king_panel_about_the_war_of/
"It wasn't exclusively about the War but it did give some nice hints.
>1) It's going to be 8 issues
>2) The sides are Joker's chaos and Riddler's order. Tom referred to them more as anarchy vs fascism.
>3) Batman will be forced to pick a side.
>4) There will be 2 issues from the perspective of Kiteman(HELL YEAH) about being a low level bat villain stuck in this big bat war. Will be drawn by a guest artist.
>5) Plenty of other villains will be involved: Deathstroke vs Deathshot and Grundy vs Killer Croc(I think) were specifically named.
Now some unrelated news.
>Tom has a 12 issue series coming out in July. No names yet but be on the watchout.
>In Batman 20 Tom is going to give Bruce Wayne a middle name.
>Tom once pitched a story where a kid tries to become Batman by killing his parents
>The Elmer Fudd story will have a backup, also written by Tom, with Batman in the Bugs Bunny world."
>>91231725
>>In Batman 20 Tom is going to give Bruce Wayne a middle name.
Am I the only one who thought his middle was already Anthony
Like I don't know where I saw it or who told me but
just Anthony
>>91231725
>>91231930
According toBCthe middle name that Tom chose for that it'll beThomas, so Bruce now will be named BruceThomasWayne
for the 12 issue series its supposed to be another dc obscurity a la omega men
any bets on who/what its gonna be? He said something about a character nobody's done anything with in a while
What /co/ characters are doomed to never make any meaningful progress for the sake of the status quo?
Spider-Man

When and why did Ash get Thiccer?

fuckin shit on a dick i'd give the hobgoblin's red ruby for a weekly moomin thread
Which one are you honestly more excited for?
>>91231006
homecoming, but mostly because I'm a colossal Ironfag from /m/ and I want the Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure of Iron Man's new suit on my shelf.
I have actual negative hype for Justice League.
The only comic related movie this year I was excited for was Lego Batman because I'm not completely retarded.

New Mutants
Combining the trailers and the leaks you get a pretty solid grasp of how the movie goes down.
>Prologue with Peter being picked up by Happy Hogan to go to Germany and getting his new suit, followed by Stark dropping him off at home and telling him he gets to keep the suit but is not joining the Avengers and should keep close to the ground.
>Peter heads back to the Midtown Science and Technology School, which he attends on a scholarship. He's still dreaming of joining the Avengers and making a difference.
>Peter has a crush on Liz Allan, who is also interested in him. Flash Thompson is the wealthiest kid in school and bullies Peter out of jealousy because Peter is smarter than him with half the effort. They both end up competing to see who gets to take Liz to the homecoming dance.
>Peter's best friend is Ned Leeds. Michelle Gonzalez is an edgy rebel outsider who often makes fun of them because she's tsundere for Peter.
>Peter foils a robbery on the way home and then meets up with aunt May. Later that night, he intervenes in a bank robbery but the criminals led by Logan Marshall-Green and Donald Glover turn out to have Chitauri weapons from the Battle of New York and some manage to escape. Peter goes back home unaware Ned is waiting for him and Ned ends up finding out his secret identity.
>The incident with the robbers prompts Stark to create Damage Control, a government-sponsored organization dedicated to cleaning up after superhero fights. This pushes Adrian Toomes, the owner of a small NYC-based salvage company, out of business. Toomes and some of his employees, namely Herman Schultz and Phineas Mason, decide to retrofit the weapons they've collected to rob Stark in revenge for what Stark did to them.
>Peter and Flash join the academic declathon team to be closer to Liz. Peter drags Ned along, while Michelle joins to be closer to Peter. They head out to Washington, D.C. for an an event and are caught up in the Vulture's attack on the Damage Control headquarters to steal weapons. Spider-Man intervenes and saves his classmates who had been taken hostage. The Vulture flees when the police shows up, but Peter tags him with a spider-tracer beforehand.
>Stark tells Peter to let the government handle the Vulture. Peter is determined to prove himself by catching the Vulture and follows the tracer's signal to a ferry where Toomes is making an alliance with Marshall-Green over the weapons. He fights off the criminals, but Toomes uses one of the Chitauri weapons to tear the ferry in two and Peter is unable to hold on the the sinking halves for long.
>Iron Man then shows up, having tracked Peter's suit, and saves the ferry, but reprimands Peter for his recklessness and takes his suit away. Peter realizes he messed up and it's his responsability to fix things even if Stark doesn't allow him to. Meanwhile, Toomes becomes determined to kill Spider-Man even after some of his employees walk out on him because he's going too far.
>Peter goes to homecoming with Liz, but has to leave when he finds out about another meeting between Toomes and LMG. When he gets there in his homemade suit he's ambushed by LMG and Schultz but manages to fend them off before confronting Toomes.
>Spider-Man and the Vulture batlte across the New York City skyline and end up atop a plane which is then damaged by the Vulture. Peter manages to steer it so it can crash without hurting anyone, near an amusement park. Vulture ambushes and severely beats Peter and is ready to kill him when Peter manages to disable his suit. Toomes either dies or is arrested (unclear at this point, could go either way).
>Peter rushes back to homecoming but Liz has given up on him and went with Flash. Ned somehow hooked up with Liz's friend Betty Brant. Peter ends up sharing a tentative dance with Michelle, which could blossom into something more.
>The following day Damage Control cleans up after the battle and dismantles both Toomes's and LMG's gangs. Stark compliments Peter on a job well done and gives him his suit back. He invites Peter to join the Avengers but Peter declines in favor of keep being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. They swing together. The End.
Pretty much what I expected. Sounds good.
http://comicbook.com/2017/04/02/iron-fist-cast-doesnt-answer-questions-from-singapore-media/
>Iron Fist may have made its entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe over two weeks ago, but the controversies surrounding the show still continue to haunt those affiliated with the production.
>Most recently, the cast and crew were on hand in Singapore to promote the show, but at a scheduled media stop on the press tour, a peculiar rule was crafted that prohibited the media from asking any questions to the cast members in attendance — Finn Jones, Jessica Stroup, and Tom Pelphrey.
Holy kekaroni.
I'm liking the show.
I want my whole generation to die, making a ruckus over stupid things.
>>91230081
>not allowing Best Boy Ward to answer questions
Rude.
>>91230179
I know right?
>>91230125
I know the show upset a lot of people, but for someone that had zero exposure to Iron Fist I enjoyed it. If anything, it encouraged me to look up some Iron Fist comics afterward and I got introduced to Immortal Iron Fist which is fucking schweet.
Not the best show but to say it deserves the lashing it's getting in the media is unfounded.
Well? Who would win?
>>91229684
So which one?
>>91229705the memey one
Now that the dust has settled, who was in the wrong here?

Everyone

This board, fuck you whiners.

Everyone.
Remember the Stitch anime? Because they're doing that shit again, but with China.

They should stop, the anime is shit.
>>91228236
I don't get it, why do they keep remaking stich? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just dub it, or do these countries have a problem with Hawaiians but like the concept?
What are the worst Disney sequels?
What the best ones?
>>91227976
Oh geez, it's been a while since I've seen the Aladdin sequels, but I remember them not being total shit as a teen. King of Thieves is definitely the better of the two, though.
>>91227976
I always that Lion King 2, while definitely not being as grand and breathtaking as the first, is a nice standalone movie
>>91227976
From what I remember 101 Dalmatians 2 (not to be confused with the live action 102 Dalmatians), Extremely Goofy Movie and the two Cinderella sequels were all genuinely decent. Especially Cinderella 3 which goes all Back to the Future Part 2 in the weirdest ways. The rest are mostly mediocre to garbage.
>airs the Rick and Morty premiere 8 times in a row on Saturday, pre-empting new episodes of Samurai Jack and Dragon Ball Super
>now going to rerun the episode every night at 10 for the next week
What is Adult Swim's deal?
Who cares. Grow up. (You). Just wait for the episode and stop complaining.
>>91227780
If you compile all the airings together, you'd get crazy ratings
R&M has a bigger fanbase than the other two shows combined, and season 3 has been hyped to all hell due to the long break since last season. Someone in marketing probably successfully made the argument that they need to keep the premier running all week to make sure that the news disseminates to the normie crowd that the show's back, since last night's return would only be known to internet-savvy audiences
