Guys I need help,
I've been getting little sleep lately and to make up for it I started drink energy drinks. It used to be one a week but now it's up to multiple a day. If I'm in a store and they have one, I'll buy it, no matter the brand.
How do I get out of this? Please help, it's wrecking me physically and mentally.
Pic related.

If you can just stop completely do it, but be prepared for headaches and a few days of anxiety. Otherwise slowly start drinking less and less of it until you aren't drinking anymore.
There won't be any super secret tips or tricks to instantly get you out of it, though. You just have to be strong enough to deal with the effects of stopping.
This is an addiction, just like smoking or doing drugs, just try to ignore the needs and drink a small coffee everyday, sleep more until you dont need the coffee or replace the energy drinks with cups od tea and think that the tea will have the same effect.

Hello I dont like cooking and all the replacement meals are vegan and contain flaxseed and soy
I dont care about eating the same disgusting stuff everyday as long as I get the essential nutrients and it's easy to make. What would I need?
Potatoes and dairy.

surely i need more than that to have all the essentials...
Moved out and new to cooking for myself and I want to get rid of my microwave. But sometimes oven instructions just take too long.
I have a toaster oven though. Can I cook food meant to be cooked in an oven and/or microwave in a toaster oven. Like say its late at night and I just want a quick frozen meal but it says it takes 40 minutes in the oven, or 4 minutes in the microwave. Do I need to keep my microwave or can I put this in a toaster oven?
They both have their uses. That's like asking shorts or pants? They are two different things that are both useful.
>>9044568
Toaster ovens and microwaves have unique functions. A toaster oven will produce better food overall. But a microwave has its place--and it's heating up food quickly when you're just hungry and want to eat.
No reason not to have both for convenience.
>>9044568
Why not both? Do you have to pick one?
>author is a fat old man

Why do they do this?

The dude is obviously an old perv who only got into barbecue because of a misunderstanding involving "smoking his meat in a hot pit".

Why do so many people fall for the smooth top range meme? They're so shitty. they're fragile, they don't work with certain materials, if the pot or pan is too big the thing could fucking melt, literally the only advantage is easy cleaning.
induction only cookers suck
They're decorations for people who really don't cook much/well. Lots of boomers who eat tv dinners have them. Or wealthy people who go to restaurants nearly every day
I had to get an induction because my apartment doesn't have a gas line (some weird building codes). :-(
I still like gas better but induction is much better than contact electric. Also it's a Wolf cooktop, I'm not sure how good that brand is but I know it must have been expensive
What are some good food recipes using golden rum?
Wound cleaner

I'd use that to marinate pork, chicken, or fish. Probably would be bretty gud deglazing a pan and reducing into a sauce with some spices.
Pour it in a glass and drink it

If anyone here still uses the drive-thru to get their food, STOP!
>Takes longer to get your food
>Stinks up your car for days
>Food is cold by the time you get home to eat it
>Don't get free soda refills like you do if you dine inside
>Don't get to use the free wifi
>Can't get your order corrected when they screw something up and you don't realize it until you get home
>Waste gasoline idling your car waiting
The list goes on...

...what the fuck?
Shit picture, but hang with me here.
Assembled this lower end, but pretty effective smoker today. Seasoned it while friends game over for beer and relaxing and finished off the day with smoking a small pork loin.
My friend and I plan on competing next year once we settle on a dry rub and glaze/marinade.
So the end of the day comes around and we cut a few slices to taste before it rests and I'll be damned if this thing doesn't taste like some primo beef or deer jerky.
Used hardwood charcoal, pecan chunks followed by cherry chunks (ran out of pecan lol). Loin had a dry rub of Himalayan pink salt, a fresh ground pepper medly and some mild curry from a middle eastern place. These are my typical spices when cooking.
The glaze/baste/marinade, whatever it was, was brown sugar, honey, crisp apple strongbow, and cinnamon.
Over all the flavor was nice. The pepper was too strong for my liking, but man... how the hell.
>>9043940
That's cool. Stop drinking shit beer and soak your wood chips next time.
>>9044193
I did. Always do. Hell I even added mint tea to the water to experiment. It didn't have any effect.
Strongbow is cheap and delicious. Beer doesn't do shit for me anyways so I may was well enjoy it, yeah? I've had some high end brews and high end homebrews and I still just prefer whiskey and ginger or tasty drinks.

That looks really good for summer actually
I could see it being really nice if you let a few sprigs of rosemary infuse into it over a couple of days and added a little less sugar
