i cut into an advocate i thought was ripe and ended up throwing it away.
I like eating mayo spread on a slice of bread or ripping apart bread and dipping it in sriracha
i let the motion of the boiling water stir the noodles instead of doing it myself

>ripping apart bread and dipping it in sriracha
I do this, too.
I manage a Culver's restaurant. Is there anything you want to know?
>>9142342
Yeah, why are you viral marketing on /ck/ all the time now Culver's?
Just make me a pork tenderloin sandwich and shut the fuck up.
>>9142345
The pork t is ass and it never sells.
This isn't marketing Im just a jabroni who wants to talk about what it's like to work or eat at Culver's
I'm holding a meeting with the entire crew of 40+ people next week.
What do they need to know?
Everytime I see pics of a seafood boil posted, people seem to lose their minds, and I don't get it.
I've had crab, I've had corn, and I've had sausage separately, and they're OK. I haven't had boiled potatoes, that sounds bland as fuck. Why would boiling them all together suddenly make it amazing? It doesn't look appetizing imo, yet people make it sound like it's the pinnacle of cooking. What should my expectations be?
Most people just like whatever seasoning they use to boil it all in. I think it tastes alright but everything tastes the same to me because everything is boiled in the same seasoned water.
I'll explain...
>eating a seafood boil alone
this is shit. why the fuck would anyone make this? i could have cooked all this shit separately and made it taste 10x better.
>having a seafood boil with 10 friends while drinking heavily
OMG!!! This is the best meal ever!!!! I love life and have zero desire to kill myself ever!!!! Love you guys.
If you are not eating it off of newspaper then it is not authentic.
Do you ever avoid ordering certain foods from a restaurant because you don't want to burden the restaurant?
Some items can be tedious for some restaurants to make when it's super busy .
>>9142285
I bet you pee on the side of the toilet to reduce noise and not splash. You're a fucking faggot.
If I pop into a restaurant and it's near closing time, I won't ask them to start grilling or roasting something. I'll order something quick. Otherwise, I can't think of another reason why I wouldn't.

I also recommend apple sider viniger.
cider*
What's it cost? Is there whiskey barrel in it? Otherwise I already have a bunch of dried ghost peppers and a blender here.
>>9142170
Somewhere around $10-15 a bottle depending where you buy it from.
I want to get a grill.
I've got space for an outdoor gas grill, but it seems unnecessary. I'm only cooking for myself most of the time.
Are indoor contact grills any good? It seems like a more convenient solution.
I like them but I'm a pleb
>>9142068
Why would you want a gas grill? Charcoal is superior.
>>9142068
they are great for sandwiches and hotdogs/burgers, they are no meme. get one with removable trays for easy cleaning
Help! I have a BBQ to go to tomorrow and need an interesting side or desert to bring. Any suggestions?

Too bad retards cooo them in paper towel. Yes I saw your earlier thread OP faggit
Bought some meal prep containers. What are some ideas for lunch to prep.
>>9140798
I always enjoyed left over crock pot meals for lunch at work. As for making full meals, the quality falls off sharply after a day or two. If you freeze, you loose flavor and texture. I wish I was better at it, I can make a good meal but I cant preserve it very well. I will watch this thread with interest.
>>9140824
That actually looks surprisingly enticing. How well does it hold over the week?
>>9140830
That is the problem I face currently. I'll probably rub a lot of /ck/'s autism by admitting that I've initially been using shredded rotissery chicken from the grocery store and rice but I'm trying to branch out.
What is the worst fast food sandwich?

it has to be something from the wendy's menu. fucking disgusting all of it.
For me it is the McFish, the cuckolds choice of fast food sandwich

I've got a wisdom tooth removal in the morning in a day or so, what does /ck/ recommend me to stuff my face prior to having the procedure done to sate me the longest? I assume i'll be in too much pain to eat solid food for a little while
>>9145824
I don't know about pre op but i know that post op scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes are quite good. Depending on how long it takes to recover you can experiment with different ingredients. I hope it goes well for you
you arent supposed to eat before surgery in case you vomit during the operation. eating solid food is fine but the food will get stuck in the empty sockets afterward. i was fishing out little pieces for a week or two. its gross and annoying.

This. Also nothing by straw afterwards and no smoking or vaping. If you were going to power down on carbs like a runner you should have done it like 14 hours ago. The upside is you'll be so fucked up on drugs you wont even care for a while.
I just made the Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies™ from America's Test Kitchen®.
How did it turn out?
>>9145324
Is that mayo under that cookie????

Cooking thread.

Here are some steaks I have resting before I pan sear them in my shitty apartment with my gf. I've got the ribeye and she has the ny strip. Asparagus and potatoes in the oven. Can I use Thyme that is in a season shaker for steaks?
>>9145253
What would you suggest for next time then?
>>9145247
you need coarser salt faggot
>>9145269
Ignore him, there are a couple of idiots floating around here that think eating ribeyes aren't manly because they have too much fat/flavor
Thyme is ok to use but use it sparingly, the flavor is very strong
What uncommon spices are you using? I prefer cumin and oregano. What are your favorite picks?
Fish sauce is also a protip.
>>9144492
>cumin and oregano
>uncommon
The only things more common than those are salt and black pepper.
I use quite a bit of mustard powder in my savory dishes. While not that uncommon, it's still not as common as one might think.
Also saffron.
Why are you refraining from using weight control pills like white kidney bean extract? Do you like having a caloric surplus from eating food and or ingesting calories?
My self control and discipline isn't so bad that I require some bullshit magic bean pill in order to eat under my maintenance calories every day
>>9144378
Your statement is invalid, there is actual scientific research proving that in fact white kidney bean extract successfully blocks a set % of carbohydrates.
>>9144354
why are they called kidney beans anyway?
if it's because of how they look like kidneys then I find it kind of macabre to name it after a human organ.
