I've been cooking since I moved to college and now my food is starting to become non shitty. But for the next year I want to improve on how I eat since I spend 8 hours cooking some days to swallow everything in 5 minutes browsing /wsg/ or youtube.
I have a small square table that seems perfect for my meals (I eat alone 99.9% of the time). I'll put it facing a wall so I can focus on the food and eat a little slower.
Any recommendation? What to get for decorating? White towel? A lampshade as centerpiece? Flowers?

Sup /ck/, sitting on the shitter working out my office's Christmas party. Literally been shitting off and on for 12 hours now, but I don't know the culprit. Let's look at last night's menu:

Literally imitation crab meat mixed with mayonnaise. There is neither crab in this nor is it a salad.

Ground beef, one bell pepper...and an entire block of food stamp level Velveeta cheese

Why do people undercook bacon all the time?
The fat is pretty much inedible unless it's melted and allowed to crisp up. I hate the feeling of chewing on those stringy, rubbery pieces of unrendered fat.
Whenever I order breakfast in a cafe/restaurant I always have to ask to have the bacon done crispy, otherwise I can be fairly sure they'll give me a portion of chewy, gelatinous, fatty rashers. It's especially annoying getting a burger or sandwich with bacon in it because I either have to send it back or pull out all the individual bits of bacon.
Is there a reason people like to do this? I've experienced this in upmarket restaurants as well as greasy spoons.

I like the texture, and get mildly annoyed at crumbly bacon served as strips on the side. In a sandwich I'm fine with either variation.
It kind of fills the same textural niche chewing gum does, at least for my purposes.

How do i make a perfect egg like this? Pls no tease.
When I do it, the white look like cum and go everywhere, the yolk doesn't stay perfectly round. When I attempted it the bottom cooks but the top is liquidy, so flipping ruins it. Advice?

The most meh Japanese 'curry' rice I've ever had was miles better than the best Indian curry I've tasted.
On that topic, Asians can't seem to do pastries and bread right to save their lives. They've either got the crumb of underdone pound cake or taste like they've been marinaded in sugar. They're almost always appearance over taste.

It's been bugging me. I eat like shit, fast food almost every day, never work out, spend most of my day sleeping and masturbating, and while I won't claim to be healthy I still don't look like an elephant.
What's /ck/'s theory on obesity? Personally I think it's just matter of not snacking and avoiding sugary drinks.

Can you survive on Sardines alone for a month? What complications could possibly arise?
I recently found out a 15 OZ can will give you a whopping 50 grams of proteins and but only ~500 calories.
I'm aware of rabbit starvation which is why I only said a month. Assume you eat two 15 OZ cans daily for the entire month.
I ask this because I'm interested in buying around 60 cans of sardines to have in case of an emergency because they have a pretty long shelf life (~5years).

Hey friends! Seeing as we are all alone and drinking heavily this Christmas, I figured I would share a very easy and delicious Korean recipe with you tonight. You may remember me from the 닭갈비 thread. Anyway, we are going to make 삼겹살. This is korean pork belly. It is very delicious in a 쌈 or lettuce wrap. I will not be doing this the very traditional way with soju tonight because I bought a very nice bottle of whiskey instead, but I will supply my absolute favorite recipe for sojussam!
