Alright lads, I bought a package of sliced pepperoni (fairly large slices) a couple days ago because it was cheap. Now, I've never made anything with it before, but I was thinking something along the lines of sandwiches or submarines. Pizza's pretty easy, so hopefully we can avoid that.
If you've got stellar dishes involving pepperoni, post 'em here! It'll be much appreciated.
Peanut butter and pepperoni Sammich. Kraft dinner and pepperoni.

Enjoy that industrial, bio-waste, byproduct.
I see a lot of recipes (especially indian and Thai) that call for either "Red" or "Green" chilies. But there are so many varieties of peppers that I don't know what they mean.
So what are they talking about? Fresno and Serranos?
If the recipe doesn't specify the type beyond mentioning the colour, it was likely written by a Brit (or possibly someone from some other nation that's part of the Commonwealth). They typically mean cayenne peppers because those are the ones most commonly sold in the UK and other Commonwealth countries.
If you live in the US, they're not hard to find, but aren't typically called "cayenned peppers." Just look for ones that are long, about as thick as your thumb and end at a point. Those are likely to be cayennes. Otherwise, compare them to

and

Does the Commonwealth not have other types of pepper?
>ayylmao nobody can make fruit cake taste good
Said it for you so you don't have to - care to share recipes on how to repurpose or reconstruct fruit cake?
I actually enjoy fruit cake but only in small quantities like candy because it's richly sweet. I was going to turn them into rum balls instead because I got the alcohol free Homebrand stuff to use up and the alcohol helps cut down the sweetness I think.
Was also thinking of an old breakfast thing where we'd get over ripe bananas and fry them in a pan because they looked unappetising all brown and mushy and overly sweet like that. Great cooked with bacon. Thinking of doing the same with slices of fruitcake for breakfast tomorrow.
I always loved fruitcake, just never the store ones, they're always kind of shitty for whatever reason.
Berauwecka, bitch.
I'll start with some key ones.

What is the difference between what OP has and prime rib?
Are Miyabi knives any good? My girlfriend got my one for my birthday that's like a fusion knife, got a western handle and a japanese style blade or something. Series is called 600d.
So far all I've managed to come up with on google and shit are post from people that are obviously sponsoring the brand.
They're alright, nothing amazing, nothing terrible. VG10 is a very common Japanese steel, better than your average shit-tier German steel from 1951, but middle of the road by the standards of modern high performance cutlery steel. It's actually contract manufactured for a German knife brand, as a feeble attempt to get with the times without admitting that their main lines are way, way, way the fuck outdated.
>>7188908
Yeah I know, I read in the brochure that came with it that it was "japanese tradition meets famous german engineering".
This is basically the first proper knife I've ever handled. What are the general rules on sharpening this? I know how to use a honing rod but I read that you should only use a wet stone for this type of knife. Is that true or just nonsense?

What beer are you drinking?
Im currently drinking Beavertown Black Betty

>IPA
Doesnt even make sense to me. Either they made an average IPA and wanted something gimmicky to help it sell, or they made a dark beer and decided to put IPA on the front since that meme still isnt dead.
Either way they convinced me to buy it.
>>7179240
I just tried pic related. Pretty good but I wouldn't buy it again. Too thick and creamy
>>7179251
Never seen this in the UK, and Google doesnt yield and places where I can buy it either. Shame because I quite enjoy what Guinness are doing lately.
Finally got Two Hearted IPA from Bell's in my distro'. It's breddy good, very very well balanced, nice malt flavor, not a hop bomb like most IPAss's.
Show us your kitchen, /ck/.
I bet you have a mad boxtop collection I could cash out on, for shame.
its always you who starts these threads. Your kitchen looks cozy at least. I would post mine but I take pride in nothing in life, and my kitchen is just one example of that.
