back in the hey day when gordon was actually in the kitchen cooking, working for him and listing working under him on your resume was a huge leg up career wise. also gordon was upfront with his staff that if they didn't like the way he talked to them, they were more than welcome to leave. hardly anyone left though, as he was incredibly skilled in the kitchen and you learned a lot just being around him. so most of his staff tolerated his behaviour.

Yes, but I do it time based. If food has been stuck on for more than two days, I don't use it again.

It also depends on whether I had raw meat in it or not.

I have vague memories of going to our local grocery store with my mother when I was very little and staring through the glass in the frozen food section at a blue box with cartoons on it.
I never got one but it was one of my childhood 'wants' that was just out of reach. So sad.

I did eight years in the airborne infantry and a few years in ranger units.

Afterward, I did contract security and became a paramedic to be further marketable.
