Where's my vegetarian / vegan bros at
They don't have the stamina to finish typing the url.

That is statistically improbable as 78% of vegans are women. Really. Look it up.
59% of vegetarians are women.
Vegans are 3× more likely to be female than male. Also, while current research predicts that about 8% of the population is homosexual, a staggering 37% of vegan males are gay and 100% are faggots.
What/s your favorite energy drink? I usually get the "stinger mo" Rip It, because it's very cheap(buck nine) and tastes pretty close to monster without being overpriced
this shit literally can't be beat
There's a brand called Tornado that I've only ever been able to find at an overstock store for 25 cents a bottle. But it's really good, nice cool fruity taste (exactly like one of those grapefruit cough drops) and only light carbonation. I could drink them like soda if they didn't have caffeine. None of the chemical taste that make most energy drinks so bad.
I liked Rockstar cola but I think they discontinued it. The Rockstar pina colada and lime flavors are my favorite mainstream drinks but they're so sugary/expensive that I usually just take caffeine pills now.
I like red bull but only drink 1 per month or so because the caffeine fucks with my heart.
some freshly ground black pepper
and as always, enjoy~
you are the biggie smalls of these meatballs
freakishly small wooden spoon
Hey co/ck/, any experianced coffee makers here?
How do you make good coffee without a machine?
Should we boil it or keep it below boiling temperature? For how long?
French Press
18g coffee grounds per 500ml water
Heat the water until the steam stings you.
This will be considerably less than boiling point.
Add water to grounds and swish it around to bring out the foam head.
Brew for 3 minutes.
I'm pretty sure coffee is never supposed to boil.
Also starbucks makes some really great instant coffee, if you don't have a machine and don't feel like cleaning a gross pot of coffee grounds early in the morning.
>>7944226
>instant
that's not coffee
they even cut it with freeze-dried molasses to make it taste more palatable
ITT: things you eat 20 times the recommended serving of

Vitamin C tablets.
Sometimes the recommended serving isn't really a suggestion but just a number to make it easier for you to figure out what you're puting into your body.
For example; a packet of nine biscuits might list a single biscuit as the recommended serving, so then all you need to do is multiply the numbers in the nutritional chart by the number of biscuits that you decided to eat.
>each bicsuit has 150 calories
>eat six biscuits
>total consumption = 900 calories
Not sure if that's really relevant to the thread topic but just sayan.
why do we eat sea bugs but not land bugs?
>>7946637
The water washes off the ickiness
Sea bugs are larger.
What the fuck is going on in this picture
Is there a shittier fish than salmon? Well, yes. Monkfish is pretty shit. But normies don't pretend to like monkfish, only hipster "foodies" who think chewy trashfish is good.
But normies do pretend to like salmon, and why is it that they do this? Did the anisakis work its way into their brains? Or did someone, generations ago, plant a bad meme, like the "steak shouldn't have a sauce" meme, and the plebs just never questioned it because they need to be told what's good?
Literally the only acceptable salmon preparation is belly lox and anything blasted with that amount of salt would probably taste good.
I'd sooner eat a pound of escolar than a pound of salmon, that is how shitty salmon is.
tl;dr stop pretending salmon is good, you're not fooling anyone
>>7946482
Taste is subjective.
>>7946482
Ok, I'll stop.
>>7946482
this is like the most bitter sounding post about a food i've ever seen. did a salmon fuck your wife or something?
What is /ck/ eating tonight? I made some homemade pasta.

You made the pasta? It's usually the sauce people like to make from scratch
>>7953278
Just finished a large double cheese/double pepperoni pizza from dominoes, few pieces of their cheese bread with ranch, a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon, fries, and a big bag of doritos. Just finishing dessert now (pint of Ben and Jerry's chunky monkey).
Where does someone with ZERO cooking knowledge get started?
Make sure your oven works well. Put your head in and inhale deeply for awhile until you start to get woozy.

In the last 2 years two new Starbucks have opened in my city
Has the luxury coffee trend hit it's peak yet?
I just want caffeine, I don't want some SJW hipster trying to force me to say "venti" when I haven't even woken up yet
>>7952188
I'd say we have to the end of the decade before the luxury coffee fad starts to die
Oh my Lord, are they forcing people into their crap shop now?
>>7952188
Starbucks is mall tier coffee. Come back and complain when proper, independent coffee shops sourcing from the best local roasters start popping up. Three of those opened in my neighborhood over the last couple years, coinciding with real estate prices rising by over 50%.
So, what is your favorite pie? Do you make your own?
Also, rate mine/tell me what you think?
Wild blueberry, lemon meringue, and Rhubarb. (all made from scratch, naturally)
My top number 1's peanut butter and coconut cream and banana cream.

Can we have a thread for discussing Japanese cuisine?
What's your favourite Japanese recipe?

Give me your sauce ideas /ck/

cilantro cremA

The white one is for vinegar. The red one is for tomato sauce. The yellow one is for mustard. This is not negotiable.
I have one with olive oil. It's great for drizzling oil on things, since I normally buy HUEG bottles or cans of olive oil.
I think my favorite "shitty" food is cheap Chinese takeout.
What do my fellow anons enjoy which might fall into this category?
Doner kebab

Frozen pizza is what I do when I'm feeling lazy.

I wish there were more places to get kebabs on the cheap in my area. I'll just settle for gyros instead.
