I just got finished cooking and eating a simple dinner: shredded green onion quesadilla, homemade tomato soup and a broccoli salad. About to pour myself a glass of iced tea, though.

The fact that I have no idea what they're trying to be. They're not creamy enough to be considered a milkshake, or as satisfying as a milkshake. Milkshakes are great because they're full of fat, and you can feel it coat your mouth as you drink it. Frappucinos are basically flavored ice, with a bit of dairy. Yet they still have a ridiculous amount of calories. They aren't worth the calorie count, for as unsatisfying as they are. I'd rather buy an ice cream cone or milkshake or malt, and fork out the additional 100-200 calories, just so I can feel like I enjoyed it.

I usually start with a base of stewed beef, though I sometimes substitute roasted cauliflower or stewed lentils if I want to be a little healthier.

Instead of slapping plain greens on there I usually make a slaw. If I have cabbage around I use that and make it crunchy, but if I only have salad greens usually I make a simple herb slaw with cilantro and basil (doesn't seem like it would go, but it does).

Pico de gallo, always. Sometimes I make a blended sauce as well, but I always try and get some fresh salsa on there.

Thug Kitchen has great recipes for vegan tacos that you can improve with whatever meat- or egg-based stuff you want. Tacos and burritos are some of my favorite meals to make.

I actually agree. I hate cold coffee beverages. Hot is the only way.
Tea however, is perfectly fine iced in the summer, as long as it's nice and strong and not bitter.

Knocks out acid reflux, try a tbsp or two next time you get acid reflux if you don't have a stomach ulcer. It's an ok cooking or salad vinegar too, especially for pulled pork and what not.
