I dropped out of high school in year 12 so I don't think university is an option I want to get into IT but in Australia even level 1 help desk jobs are asking for things like 2-3 years experience what do I do how do I get into this industry?

I want to start an online business but I'm not sure what in I know I want it to be an online service but I'm not selling an actual product like clothes etc I want to start like a dating site or the next myfreecams but they are already overdone I get that I want to be able to eventually charge a monthly subscription to join how hard is it to go about doing this anyone here own an online business similar to this? thanks.

Hi /biz/, quick question.
I was recently hired on as a dishwasher for a small restaurant.
They fired me after 3 days for "not being fast enough" but I was always doing the dishes faster than they were coming in to me and was never told to go faster/ the kitchen manager liked me and was upset that I was getting fired when I told him.
Anyway, I think it's some tax break scheme because I never filed a w2 or 1099 or anything, and nothing was taken out of my check.
Just wondering if there is a place I could report this to, seems illegal.

Today was my first loss since I started trading in the equity market last week, anons. Made 1.2k and in one day lost 2k trying to YOLO.

Anyway, I feel like shit. How do you cope with financial losses? How was your first loss?

Haven't heard from this company I was interviewing at for 1 week. I'm shitting myself at the moment, the interviewer assured me that they would call in a few days. What are the chances that I'm not selected?
+ The interview panel seemed to like me a lot
+ They are in need of staff
+ I worked there as an intern
+ I'm friend with a manager
- Fucked up a few times during my internship, slept on the job once
- Doesn't know Mandarin (pretty important, I'm living in Singapore)
- They also interviewed another dude who very likely knows Mandarin
- There is only one position available, but they can choose to hire in advance in case another person resigns.

Can someone who's well versed and knowledgable in business and finance please explain to me in simple terms how the economy and stock markets and overall well being of the global economy works? I do some research on the side but I want someone especially if ur a business or economics major or if your in that line of work to explain to me in detail how economic systems and business works. What is the driving force behind the economy? What causes economies to do good or bad what causes stock markets to bubble or burst, how do business and financial systems work like banks and housing markets and central loans. Please help me /biz/ I'm really into business and economics and want to make a difference in the world but also learn this stuff inside out.

Hey /biz/,


I'm in quite the pinch. I am writing a piece of uni coursework which is due in 35 hours and one of its main components is the analysis of a decently sized organisation's organisational chart. Ideally I would need a chart of a branch of that organisation, instead of it just being focused on the very top managerial levels.


I have been doing a lot of research myself these past few days, using both google and scholarly databases, however it all came back blank. I was briefly in contact with a manager from a local Tesco, a major UK hypermarket chain, and was supposed to receive the organisational chart of this local store, however they haven't come through and I highly doubt that they will anymore.


What I'm asking for is whether any of you know how I could more efficiently search for such information online, or whether you could direct me to a specific company which has it published on their website, annual reports, etc. I am in a really critical situation here, so any help would be enormously appreciated. Thank you!

In my country it's possible to borrow money from the government to fund your education at a very low interest rate. So far, I've borrowed about 25.000 eur and put it into a savings account. The interest rate for 2016 is set at 0.01%. I would like to put this money to good use, but obviously it can't be too risky, as it is borrowed money. After 2 years after I finish my college I'm supposed to start paying it back monthly, over a timespan of 35 years. The interest rate will be set at the rate of the year I finish my college in. Pic related is the rate of the past few years. It might go up, but it will definitely still be a very cheap way to borrow money.

What would you do with 25k eur, or by the time I get my college degree, 50k?

Long story short. I can't use ninja trader anymore. im a funded trader working for a mid sized company. I've used rithmic via ninja earlier now that isn't possible.

so my options are:

a) quit my job and become my own boss
b) just learn how to use R trader
c) use 3rd party chart program (since rithmic doesn't have charts of its own, maybe the pro version has I don't know) and only use Rithmic to execute orders. And what chart program do you guys recommend

Swedish high school graduate here in need of some advice. I'm moving to Stockholm next year and I have a job lined up to pay off my rent while I'm studying, but I still haven't decided what to study. My choices are the following:

- Industrial engineering
- Chemical engineering
- Engineering physics
- Geology

Note: If I am to pick Geology or Chemical Engineering, chances are I'll take them both as my majors (btw is that a good idea or nah?)

Keep in mind that I'm only in it for the money and I'm not planning on staying in Sweden after taking degree considering this country's political situation and the fact that there's no money to be made here. The US and Australia are two highly viable options.

I am 23 years old with a credit score of 538. Pretty bad. I cannot even get a phone with this score let alone a credit card. The only one I'm able to get is a Capital One Secure card if I put a down payment of 200 on it. Is this actually a good way of fixing things? I'm sad about my credit rating. I feel fucked. I can't get loans and probably not a car. What should I do?
