What's the best way to market an iPhone app that isn't a game? Any clever ideas or is paying for installs the best idea?
Installs and ratings help you rank in the app store when people search, that's all I know. My company's app has been slowly climbing and is now #5 under a few huge incumbents.

How many installs a day?
>>1040535
Make a "My favorite top 10 apps this month" posts all over the internet and to each one attach a screenshot and short description of the app. Place your own app to 4th place to not seem so obvious.
just make $150k right out of college, bro
Then get married to a girl that makes like 80k herself and don't count her income.
Guys, can you help a german out with this international transaction?
I already entered the bank name, bank code, swift, IBAN, account number, but what do I need to put in pic related, and where do I find the numbers?
Thanks in advance!
Just give us the information you already have and we can do the rest for you.
If the terminology translates it means the address of the branch where the account was opened. And the number for that specific branch (aka transit number).
What is a tranny neet supposed to do for money besides degenerate sex work?
I have no college degree, I graduated High School, and thats about it. I have hobbies and stuff, history, linguistics, politics, cartography, graphics design, but I can't make a career out of any of those.
I don't need to get a good paying job, even minimum wage would work, I just want money to spend on myself.
My plan thus far is to just go to trade school, learn a trade, and then go into whatever trade I learned. I got a few options right now but its gonna be something like Welding, Plumbing, HVAC, A/C Repair, or Locksmithing.
There aren't that many jobs up here in Oregon, I almost wish the minimum wage wasn't so high so I could more easily get a job..
What do?
>My plan thus far is to just go to trade school, learn a trade, and then go into whatever trade I learned. I got a few options right now but its gonna be something like Welding, Plumbing, HVAC, A/C Repair, or Locksmithing.
You already posted the answer. If you can't do that I'm afraid degenerate sex work is your only option. Good thing you're a tranny, that pays top dollar.

>tranny
>hobbies include cartography and linguistics
>trade school
Look, I myself am not one to judge, but I think you need to be realistic about the fact that the trades tend to be dominated by white, macho, shot-and-a-beer type men. It might be a tough situation to be a transsexual welder working in an auto shop around mechanics or welding structural steel around a bunch of construction workers.
If money is your only goal then go for it, but you are likely going to be ridiculed and be miserable.
>>1040360
Thats my biggest concern... I don't need to go to trade school and make a lot of money.. It's just a goal of mine because I want to do something more than fucking minimum wage stuff.. I want to be able to make enough money to support another person and make them my housewife and spoil the fuck out of them.
I have pretty fucking crazy thick skin though and nothing bothers me or gets under my skin, so I doubt I'd actually be ridiculed or be miserable.
I just don't know what else there is to do.. I've been browsing CL all day looking for anything interesting. It just pisses me off I guess a little bit, I hear stories from my interent friends landing these fucking amazing jobs with no school or experience or anything and I'm stuck here still being a neet that's never worked a day.
Sucks man.. I just wish I had connections
Told hiring manager I'm free between 9 and 3 on Saturday after being asked if I'm free on Saturday to be interviewed. He still hasn't responded
Should I send another email or did/is he probably going to call me randomly day of? Last time I made a specific time to someone the person got butt hurt and took it out on me

Just show up to the interview! No harm done
With the powerball cash payout at 930 million, the highest federal tax bracket being 39.6%, and my state's highest tax bracket being 6%, that works out to $505,920,000.
That's an unfathomable amount of money personally, but you know greed has no end so.... When you actually collect your winnings, they only withhold 25% for federal taxes and 5% for my state, which means you would end up with $651,000,000, with the balance of $145,080,000 due at the end of the year.
145 million is a lot of money too. What could you do with it in the say 9 or 10 months that you would have it to offset that tax burden?
>>1040285
invest in a stock that has a heavy dividend % and a solid history of paying dividends
>>1040285
>With the powerball cash payout at 930 million
By the time the drawing happens I bet the payout will be 1.1 bil or higher.
Some people could go home with 800 mil
To be honest, I would rather see a game where 0.1% of the tickets win 1000x the price instead of having one lucky faggot winning the billions...
I quit last year and my 401k is still sitting in my old companies Target Date 2050 fund. It's about 40k. Would it be a decent idea to move it to the more stable Retirement Income fund for a few months to just to see where the market is going?
PS: first /biz/ post; sorry if this is ignorant
You should roll your old 401k over into an IRA if possible. It should come with no penalty but I'm not sure if you might be subject to something for waiting so long. Once it's in an IRA you'll have full control over it.
https://investor.vanguard.com/401k-rollover/options
I was just kind of letting it sit until I figured out my next move as the target date 2050 seemed to be a half as decent mix for the time being. I don't have the time to do much now as I'm backpacking through asia, but I can easily move change my allocations to a more bond based fund that is much lower risk. Is that a good idea for the short term based on what the market has done thus far?
>>1040388
No. US interest rates are rising. Bonds are going to take a hit just like everything else and the risk that you forget it for years is too high. Just leave yourself allocated aggressively and the dips will flatten out in the long term.
HI /biz/ ..
I recently was appointed as a commercial manager for a Construction Company in Nigeria..
After starting my work here I realized that they do not have any accounting system and are just making record in Excel..
Any suggestions on a good accounting system with good inventory management for multiple warehouses that I can suggest and start implementing??

Do you change your apparent background to get on in life?
Like changing your name or accent?
I upgraded my surname from Durbeyfield to d'Urberville.
Well, neither are my real name, but I Frenchified my name in a similar way. Chicks dig it.
/biz/ because this is related to class, economic status, and networking.
>>1040156
No, because I'm white with a respectable, easy to spell and pronounce name, and I naturally have non-regional American diction.

How can I pass myself off as a blue blood wasp who comes from old money as frugally as possible?

What stocks or sectors will do well when Trump is elected?
ADP for job growth?
CAT for rebuilding infrastructure, building a WALL
GLD for return to gold standard
Weapons, planes??? Sell short Macy's, Ford and Pfizer?
buy chipotle because their competition is going home
Trump doesn't understand how the levers of government work or what the president is capable of. Even if he were elected by some fluke he would be as ineffectual as Jimmy Carter because he has virtually no supporters in any branch of government.
He aims to bring manufacturing back to US. What stocks would benefit from that?
Can anyone with experience tell me, where do I begin?
I have an overwhelming need for more. I feel that if I were to make a thousand, i'd want ten thousand, if i made a hundred thousand, i'd want a million, if I made a million, i'd WANT a billion.
That's great to boast about my unsatisfied ambitions but I need to know how and where to start. I am working a dead end job, making about $23,000 a year before taxes and I have little to no money to set aside for business/investment ventures.
Give me your skype

You have plenty
Last week I decided to use my smart phone and my various online accounts that I have cultivated to start a tech company with various high-profile investors. The more I watch Shark Tank and read Gizmodo, the more I become convinced that I can use self-help books and Chinese electro-gadgets to win the lottery and produce something revolutionary out of thin air with my pea-brain and my absolute lack of any sort of skill besides masturbating and filling my sugar plum head with fanciful distractions. It's mostly my fault but yes my parents and teachers did sell me down the river. My backup plan is to get a girl pregnant. No matter what I know that I will be watching a lot of TV. Work smarter not harder, 4 hour work week, just gotta find the right scam to start reeling in affiliate bucks. I hope nobody gives me what I deserve which is a bullet in my head. PEACE.

in a hypothetical market crash (stocks ect), what should we short? RBS recntly annouced that a market crash may be very soon. Pls gib advice to a noob here.
thanks in advance
BS, if a crash was immanent they wouldn't announce it. Which means they try to create an artificial price drop so they can buy cheap

ITS HAPPENEING POL IS ALWAYS RIGHT

Firstly, establish if RBS has a prop.trading desk on the other side of the trade.
Sell it all! Run away! = Sell us all your stocks.
Buy fixed income! Protect urselves! = Buy our bonds before they go bust!
