Hey /biz/, So I just got approved for my first credit card and needed some help with making sure I don't fuck my self over using it.
I'm only going to be using the card to buy a bass amplifier and nothing else.
My card limit is $1000 with 0% APR for the first billing cycle of a year. The amp i'm getting is $1300, and I plan paying the rest of the amount that I need to with money from savings.
So the questions I have are;
Should I spend less than my cards limit on my purchase? If so, what's a good amount to use from the card?
I know I should, and can, make payments on the card greater than the minimum, but is there an ideal amount more than the minimum I should pay?
Im a delivery driver and make minimum wage and around $300-500 in tips a week depending on how much I work that week. Monthly expenses are about $450.
Help me not goof this up.
pic unrelated
No don't max it out
Maxing out credit card is bad for credit. Instead of using a credit card to buy the amp just save up your money and buy it with cash.
Just save and pay cash. Using credit for anything but cash back and emergencies is silly.
Does anyone use these option traders?
Im usually a skeptical person but after searching the only people that say its a scam are the ones that bash how its advertised then advertise a different trader
The people that have video of them using it and winning recommend it.
Has anyone here tried it or could recommend a different program?
if you or your "teacher" calls successful trading "winning" you're in the wrong line of work.

It's a scam. You're better off reading a book about options--real options that is to say, not binary crap.
>>1417760
I dont reccomend these things.. Buy ETC
What stocks should I invest in? I know nothing about business and it all looks foreign. I'm 18 and about to go to college, and I want early success.
I recommend these perennial favorites from /biz/
$KNPD
$MWSH
$VSLN
$NLSX
Dump a ton of your cash into $CARA, you'll thank me in three months.
Just put all your extra college monies into some vanguard fund.
So what's gapping to Bitcoin? Why is it dropping so hard?
ETC and other shitcoins are to blame.
>>1417737
Is it expected to recover?
It might be because Bitcoin was expected to hard fork to 2mb block size by 1st of August and release some off chain scaling to increase transaction times but it hasn't happened, remember the mantra buy low sell high
Who /worksfromhome/ here? What do you do, what is your education level, and how much do you make?

I hope that the Grand Wizards of /biz/ teach me their ways so I eventually can.

What a fucking loser.
You have decided to destroy a potential competitor and a business collapses because of this
What good was done other than your perceived increase in wealth?
>>1417671
the better question is, should you care? if the employees of said business were not your customer, you will not net a loss from your destruction.
Ideally the market becomes more efficient. Non-ideally we now have a monopoly or oligopoly in the making.
>>1417690
>f the employees of said business were not your customer, you will not net a loss from your destruction.
Yes I'd gathered this but I think it's more complicated than that
Good evening /biz/
30yr old teacher here. Recently I went on vacation to Maine and noticed a few italian ice, snow cone shops.
I live right near a vacation lake area, loaded with tourists each summer. I was thinking of starting an operation of my own.
I would need very few things to start, and simply rent a small space, even a food-truck like setup. Seems to be a relative setup cost.
I have absolutely zero business knowledge though, just ambitious and always brainstorming ways to make money.
Anyone have any initial suggestions or advice? Thanks

Trust me mobile food service is more maintenance than food
>>1417668
All I would need for mobile would be a way to keep the blocks of ice frozen and storage. But I can imagine.
>>1417663
they had one where I live and it is nuts in tthe summer
why is everybody cashing out their shitcoins just before school?
is the market full of 18-25yo's teens and a few whales?
kek.
It's about to crash with no survivors

Is an etsy store a viable way to resell Chinese wholesale shit?
>>1417532
Proofs?
>>1417540
The 3 people I know who sell on Etsy could wrap a rock in tinfoil and sell it for $5.
Etsy has the dumbest buyers on the internet who will pay stupid amounts of money for things if they are (a) unique and (b) look cool.
Just surf Etsy for a while and look at the stores.
>>1417551
Im just talking about chinese shit I can wholesale over here like vidya merch or whatever
>tfw so frugal I just met a complete stranger about being his roommate
>>1417513
Did you bring your kneepads?
>>1417516
I'm ballin nigga you blow me
>tfw so frugal you turned an abandoned manhole into a sleeping area and used pales of sand to work out then using your muscles to seduce a librarian assistant who lets you live at the library so you can research and shitpost on the computers
I need to get out of where I am, /biz/. My family is toxic and I know for sure that I'm going to rot away if I keep associating with them. I need a few months where I can get out and build money -- it doesn't matter where or how shitty it is.
What's the best places I can go to for a job like this? I'm thinking of applying to cruise ships or cargo ships - I don't care if it's 6 days a week or something else crazy. I just need to get out of here. Do you guys have any suggestions?
The military plays the exact role you are describing for numerous people.
>>1417482
I need a few months to a year, not four dedicated years.
Navy.
Or Chairforce.
I just got a $7K bonus last year and don't really need it... thinking of throwing 2k in Med/High risk stock and 3K in low stock. I'm talking with a financial adviser tomorrow... am I too poor to be fucking with stocks? I'm 22 yrs old I though if I get lucky now, maybe something will be worthwhile in like 20 years...
>7k
>i need a financial advisor
lel
The lower the amount of money you have to play with the shittier advice you'll get. People who know hat they're doing don't care to deal with someone who comes in with $7000 to play with unless they're related to someone who they already work for that has 100 times that to play with.
>>1417422
Pretty much the advice I was looking for. I'll just spend it on drugs then haha... thx man.
I am creating a real-money meme trading website.
http://mememarketbeta.weebly.com/
I'm going to launch Pre-Beta soon but before I do, do you guys have any suggestions for ETMs (Exchange Traded Memes)? So far I have:
PokemonGo
Brexit
ISIS
BlackLivesMatter
pepe
Trump
EMOGI
Artificial Intelligence
Augmented Reality
Cloud Computing
Drones
Dubsteb
What else should we have?

Not many people know what wojak refers to
Realistically, what's to stop me from having my own version of pic related? If you don't know, here's what happened:
>"Husband" is a guy who brings over "wives" from Nepal
>The "wife" then works at a strip club and does porn
>He holds her immigration status over her head to make her keep doing it
>He lives off of her (legal) sex work because her income is their income
The only thing that court could even get him with was revenge porn, and that's mostly because he didn't present a legal defense in court because he didn't show up. He has done the same thing to numerous women for years.
Realistically, as long as you obey the law, nothing stops you. Logistically, as long as you can go to the third world you can find a girl who will do this. So I ask you, /biz/, does ethical consideration stop you?
It's fairly common in some places.
Marrying someone to get her a visa is a kind of fraud.
>>1418154
Not if you're fucking her. And whose wife doesn't work in this day and age?
Is the measure of a man how much money he's worth?
no its the size of his peen0r
No its the size of his wife's children
>>1417202
Technically.
It's how many kids his girlfriend has, as the old saying that originated from 40 year old single women on facebook that realised that they are all used up so they try to shame men in to being with them goes, "only a real man can take care of children that aren't his!", thus, the more kids you take care of that arent yours, the more of a man you really are
