ETC has no future.

It has no devs, and relies on copy/pasting ETH's updates. It is simply a shitty ETH altcoin which offers NO advantages over ETH. The only selling point is that it has not yet hard forked - and promises it never will.

Also, hackers and the Ethereum foundation hold a very large amount of ETC. A massive dump could come at any point. If they do not sell, this undermines POS in the future, leaving ETC at big risk.

It's a classic pump n dump. Go look through altcoins on Poloniex, and you'll see countless examples of exactly the same thing when new coins were added to the exchange. They all end up worth almost nothing.

If you genuinely believe that ETH is against immutability, and is going to keep hard forking in the future, you're a deranged fool.
>>
>>1413238
A lot of this is bulshit.

Infact, consider help if that's what you gather after reading on ETC.

Original OP here.

Development is ongoing. Delays due to my normal work taking most of my time at the moment but very much still happening. Don't expect launch any time soon. Planning closed beta first, invites to be given out on /biz/ when the time comes. This is very much a long term project. Patience required.

Technical decisions being worked through at the moment (picking out a time series database, planning for easy server scaling, and so on).

If you're not into robinhood - http://www.stockbrokers.com/offers
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
You have found the right image board ;)
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
>How do I git gud?
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/candlestick.asp?layout=infini&v=5F&orig=1&adtest=5F

> If I have Robinhood do I need to worry about 'Free riding' violations?
No, its not applicable for limited margin accounts (instant), and if you don't have instant, RH won't let you buy with unsettled funds
> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?
Yes, download an android emulator. Setup is extremely easy. http://www.memuplay.com/

I am a trader at a HF. 10+yrs experience in various banks (moved on from execution to prop desk) and I'm sorry to break it down to you, but all you guys are cringeworhty.

It's like flashing a frequent flyer card while pretending you're a pilot.

Just fucking stop. If you're that good, trade your strategy and have it audited by a big4 company. Collect institutional investors money and carry on. You should be a billionarire whitin less than 5 years.

Ah, those were the days.
Commissions were higher, but there weren't as many jagoffs around.
I used to talk up the pennys with the most creative accounting, that worked wonders.
>>
>>1412103
I'm starting out now as a penny stock day trader, following the advice of the likes of Tim Sykes (inb4 scammer), so even if I became amazing. The sheer float of many of the tickers I'm talking about don't allow for the likes of institutional investors.

Also if a person was "that good" he would just exponentially increase his own money without the need of taking other people's.

I've used good penny stocks to quadruple my initial investment so far. But you is it hell going through all the research. I think I'll post one of my latest picks tomorrow, once I'm sure the volatility is finally out of the way. From there, it should br an easy run from 30 cents to over 1.50 in November.

Let's talk about eBay. How much are you selling a month? Profit margins? Interesting/Good niches?
318 posts and 38 images submitted.
>>
$212 this month - down 70%
50%
i sell books and make pennies per sale. books that are worth a lot help increase my margins
>>
>>1392738
Where are you sourcing your books from?
>>
700 - 1000 month
used software
75% profit margin

Im not telling what niche as people scavenge everything.

I work in IT and saw something that a) people need / want and b) I can obtain consistently and legally. Plus you need the patience of a saint to get software selling and things rolling on eBay where customers / ebay staff / faggot competitors don't stress you out and make you act impulsively.

It's kind of like starting a mini business, I guess. You need to play to your skills and find something nearby you you can sell and capitalize on.

If you have no skills or head for numbers and /biz/ness then forget it. It's not for everyone and sometimes feels not worth it. I spend about 10 hours per week for 700-1000$ profit

What are the best ways to invest physical cash that won't get the gubmint coming for their share of the shekels?

For reasons I get paid a bonus on my salary (about 15%) in cash. If I put it anywhere near my bank account I have to declare it and get taxed 40% on it, which is shit. What is the best solution to avoid this?

Ideas so far:
-Buy physical gold with cash
-Buy jewellery/watches with cash
-Bitcoin ATM for Bitcoins (have to pay 4%-8% fee)

or just forget the idea and buy something with it thats not an investment (car, holiday etc.) but that's a bit wasteful. I want to invest it.

Just use cash to fund your everyday activities.
>>
SIPP pension, what do you work as ?
>>
>>1415935
If you get taxed 40% that makes you a higher rate taxpayer, yes? Assuming UK based on the cash image.

In other words, you are a (reasonably) rich person in a well-off first-world country, and you are trying to actively evade the taxes that make it so.

Think very carefully about whether this is something you want to do. If you go ahead with it, I hope you get caught and thoroughly arsefucked by HMRC.

How do I get customers for my food delivery service?
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>1415735
Word of mouth is probably the best advertising you can have.

Depending on the scale try to offer incentives for people to refer their friends as a customer to you.

For example, perhaps off a 10% off the next order for both the customer AND 10% off the first order for the friend they refer. That way you get the customer incentive and more interested in ordering again but you're also doubly so involving the referred since now they not only have a great review about you from a personal friend but also a discount.
