>Just opened up an Google adsense account
What should I do and not do guis?
I don't wanna get banned like every1 else :( [sad face]
Unless your site gets a lot of traffic (10,000+ views per day)
or you join one of those groups where everyone clicks eachothers ads (Palringo I think?)
Then you ain't gonna make shit.
Posted this before, but my blog gets 500 hits a day and I make like $1.25 a month.

Shit
Alright is there a better ad rev placement?
I know everyone uses adcuck these days but old people still use the internet. My site is mainly for them.
>>1415606
Not sure what you're asking, but if it's about literally where to put the ads in the website layout go google some hot-spot tests, and see if they have any in your demographic. Older people I assume will scan a lot slower so you're probably best putting your advertising in the top left hand corner, like where you would start when reading a book.
Also like the other guy said, Adsense is NOT a money spinner. If you get a lot of genuine traffic you might make some gravy, but it'll never be a primary source of income if you're a one-man operation. That's why content farms are slowly dying.
I'll make this short.
I made a small security application for my sisters small shop and its working great, today a friend of hers asked about it and is interested in implementing it at his own biz.
I think I may be onto something here, the problem is that:
>I know nothing about business
>I have no money
Where do I learn how to turn this into a small business? Do I go talk to a bank?
Any good books on the subject?
Bundle it with malware and steal all the stores money

Anybody else here constantly encounter thinly veiled jealously because of their success?
I'm always humble and nice to people, yet people constantly try to demean me. This happens in any social context.
Anyone else?
poorfags will always bring down successful people and demean them so they can somehow feel gud about their miserable and ignorant existence.
Man I don't even make good money but an ex-friend was being a dick about the fact I bring in $1500 a fortnight.

what are your goals for this money? how old are you? and exactly how much $ do you have?
There are plenty of online resources aimed at beginners to the market, I'll let you google those. Read daily about it and never stop learning.
If you're 18, put it in a roth IRA and invest in some sp500 index fund like VOO. Or just start a regular account and put your initial deposit in a stock like Alcoa, then deposit $50 every month or more if you can afford it and pick a different stock/index fund until you're diversified enough and then strengthen your positions.
wealthfront.com is worth looking at but I believe you need a minimum $500 deposit.
let us know more about your situation and we can help you out. your money might better serve you by just sitting in a bank account and being liquid so you can explore business ventures.

i started off with $500 and traded meme-bux on poloniex.. grew it to a few gran in months

18, I just want to learn about the business and maybe begin a venture. Soon I'll have about $1500 in my bank.
money goals: just wanna give it a try
So I am looking at a house that is 250 meters or 800 feet away from the freeway. My main concern is health from pollution. It looks like under 150 meters is the worst but ideally you want to be much further from what I am reading.
I have a wife and a young child who would only be at the house on weekends and maybe in the evenings after work. So it seems exposure would be minimal to him.
Ultimately I plan on renting it out, it is in a convenient location and has some of the best public schools in the country. Is this a good investment, any thing I am not thinking of? Will health be fine if we don't live there long?
Pic semi-related. I am interested in cyberpunk and Chinese cities.
That pic is cozy as fuk

no real estate is a good investment right now, we're at the top of a huge credit bubble right now all over the western world+china. I would hold onto your money for the time being or look into inflation hedges like gold.

Can someone please explain to me why they think they'll be able to, on average, beat S&P funds for the next 30 years when actively managed accounts haven't beat them on average since the dot com bust?
Because they're retarded NEETs for whom 7-8% p/a is only $80

Because I am dedicated to success. While those fancy shmancy wall street folks are drinking alcohol and taking quaaludes, I am studying the spreadsheets of companies going back to 2009. While they use their emotions to pick stocks, I only invest sensibly, on stocks that I happen to know (I play a lot of video games, so I invest in stocks relating to video games (AMD, TTWO, etc.)) While they worry about aesthetically pleasing stocks, I worry about the nitty gritty and make sure to know each stock inside and out. An example is AMD, which recently grew by about 120%. Because I wanted to make money off of it, I took a 6 month Japanese course, and traveled to Japan to meet the family members of their CEO. I learned what films he liked, what music he listened to, and what made him tic. I used all of this to formulate the most comprehensive report to select how much risk I was willing to put into this stock. To my amazement, I found that the stock was greater than I thought, so I put 42% of my account's buying power in this one stock. Now I can cover my losses, while having some money left over to continue my humble way of life, so humble in fact, that the faces of these yuppies would probably fall off if they even imagined themselves living my life for more than a few seconds. This is why I win, and why they lose.

Grsts. Let me know if you come out on top over the s&p on a 20-30 year horizon.
What is the best path for me to have a cozy life of travel and art from here on?

I seem to have a good start. Will working on wall street make me comfy in under 10 years?
I traded $KNPD futures on wallstreet a few years back.. yeah you can retire comfortably if youre good at timing the markets. Profits tend to come hard and fast

This ain't wow though.
Hey everybody. I am new to 4chan. I am trying to start my own singles night in nyc. I think I'll be good at the hosting aspect + I'll bring in business to some bar on an off night. Also, I can have my pick of the litter. I have bars that are interested, but now I have to promote it. Does anyone have good, effective and/or outside the box ideas to get this going?
