In the next few days/weeks their will be a market crash and the establishment will blame it on Trump. It will be 08/09 all over again
>>1874662
This is the perfect way for Soros and Hillary to get back at Trump after losing the election. Hillary will have "won" after all and Soros will make a fortune off the short position he recently initiated.

g-guys p-please buy eth so i-i can not lose money
>>1874637
As if this guy would waste his time writing a book for Ethereum if there was no market? He wrote one for bitcoin before too. He knows whats up unlike the skeptics on 4chan.
What makes a smart contract in Ether so special? There are hundreds if not more speculation markets already with contract features. Also where are the commercial systems that accept eth as payment? it's just another hypecoin
What is the most /biz/ specialty/career in medicine?
>>1874629
anything surgical will pay really well, doesn't matter if you fuck up a little.
>>1874629
NSG if you want to be rich af.
Ophtho/Derm if you want good money and also free time.
But to be honest, the most /biz/ specialty is dropping out of med school and make money in another, less stressful way.
We will never be rich. At most we will have a good lifestyle.
>>1874651
>pay really well
Yes, but what's the point if you have to work 60+ hours a week your entire life?
/PIVx/ general
>>1874564
Reporting for duty.
I have Ethereum in Coinbase-- what's the quickest way to get PIVx?
>>1874564
Fucking kikes at Gemini still won't let me transfer my ~$100 worth of vitcoins to purchase some pivx. The price keeps increasing everyday. REEEEEEEEE
Biz, I have been frugal as fuck for my whole life and I am getting an itch. I want to buy a new car.
Not because I need one, I currently drive a modern hybrid that is economical. The reason is because I can't stop thinking about driving something more fun. At night I go to sleep thinking about cars. I was somewhat a car enthusiast in the past, and in general I just really love cars.
I need some reassurance that it is justifiable to buy a new car. Or how much should I be spending on my next car?
Thinking about getting a new WRX that is around 30k. My alternative is a used WRX, A4 or 3-series, some of which I could get in the low 20s or teens. Still working out exactly what I want but it is so hard to justify spending 30k, or even a cheaper car that will have higher MPG or repair bills.
My financial situation is:
>110k salary + 10k - 30k bonus
>200k liquidish
>350k in home equity
>some money in retirement account, i'm young so not a whole lot
The kicker is that my wife has 4 years of med school + residency starting fall. I want to buy something now before she starts, but could totally buy something more expensive in 6+ years from now.

Anyone heard of microloans?
If you were to give a loan to a random person on the internet, what sort of information and collateral would you demand beforehand?
Im thinking of doing some private lending and am thinking of the best ways to protect myself to deter the lendee from defaulting / running away from their obligations.
Im thinking of requiring:
A timestamp picture of themselves, a timestamp of the SSN, drivers license, their employer (if any), their full name and birthday, their address, their Facebook and all social media accounts and details of their relatives.
Having this much information would make most people question trying to fuck the other person knowing they know so much information about them with the fear of what this person could do to them - especially since its a private loan. I'd be betting heavily on this fear. But there are still people out there who would fuck you over despite this.
What are your thoughts? Would you ever consider loaning people on the Internet?
why over the internet?
>>1874495
>A timestamp picture of themselves, a timestamp of the SSN, drivers license, their employer (if any), their full name and birthday, their address, their Facebook and all social media accounts and details of their relatives.
All this could be photoshopped and faked. Won't work.
That's why the only internet microloans are for charity (Kiva) because you're never getting your money back.
>>1874495
Yes, and it's not a good way to invest. There is a certain amount of risk and when you take into account the amount earned per interest and the amount lost to defaulters, you won't earn much.
You're better off lending to people you meet personally. Even then don't bother unless you have the means to collect and protect your investments the old school way.
If we murdered bankers cartel style with bolitos and shit, and stacked their 90iq heads in time square, would God even notice? Bank takes your 100$. Bank Lends your 100$ to tyrone. Tyrone pays the bank back 125$. Bank pays you back your 100$ and keeps the 25 for themselves.
WHY ARE THESE FAGGOTS NOT DEAD YET. THEY NEED TO BE DEAD ALREADY.
>>1874400
Calm down, Jose. Murdering bankers might be the national sport where you come from, but a working, blood-free financial system does provide a lot of benefits.
Just save a portion of your paycheck, use credit cards responsibly, and stop being an overdrafting nigger and you'll be fine.

Youre literally stupid to not buy ethereum right now
It dipped because of the massive sales people were making
And for stupidly low price
You can scoop up all that eth for a low price right now and ride the ship march 30th when the next etf gets denied by the etc.
But ofc autism has to exist and buy people bought when it was at 50 and sold at 30.
>comfy with my 320 eth
altcoins will never moon.
that being said, ethereum still has some pump left to do, so buying is a good idea rn

Oh wait they never did. They also limited it.

We should do a bitcoin lottery
>>1874207
why? real life lottery steals 50% , btc is all about lowest fees, you wouldn't make shit running btc lottery m8.
Yes, I will nominate my wallet to hold the lottery funds and I will give it to whoever gets dubbs first.
>>1874213
So people would send btc to my btc wallet and then weekly on /b/ we'd have people post their btc address, if they get quints or something they'll get all the btc. I wouldn't take any it would just be fun imho
Why do people seem to put more faith into eth than other crypto?
>>1874137
flavor of the month
buy doge short pran
Because marketing has led them to believe it is different, but not a single one of them could explain to you how a transaction works.
it has actually potential and usr in the near future and companies/banks are interested
So now that the eth pump has been successfully dumped what coin should we pump next?
New to /biz/. Surprised so many people on here actually bought into the whole thing. Very clever work on whoever organized the pump in the first place.
