I've got this weird lump on my inner thigh. I usually get shit like zits/pimples whatever in that area, but this feels different. It feels like just a solid mass, about as big as a quarter, and doesn't seem to be something I can "pop" or drain. It just feels so weird, it's just solid flesh. I only noticed it a few days ago but I'm a little paranoid, should I go see a doctor immediately, or maybe wait a little while just to see?
I'm in my mid 20s, I'm not exactly rolling in money, and I don't have a regular doctor at all. I really don't want to go pay for a check-up to find out it's gonna go away in a week, but I don't want to wait until it's too late if it could be serious

If it starts solid and starts to hurt and turn red while getting softer and bigger it's probably an abscess. I have hidradenitis suppurativa so I get them all the time, I've got one on my ass right now that is so huge it's probably going to have to be incised and drained, it hurts so bad I can't straighten out my leg on that side or walk. Yours probably won't be as bad as the one I've got right now if that is what it is. 90% of the time they'll form a head and then open and drain on their own. Don't ever pick at them or try to pop them yourself. They're not simple like a pimple, you can really fuck your shit up doing that. Just wet wash cloths with hot water and keep those on it when you can. They hurt pretty bad but like I said the majority of the time they'll swell up, open, then drain out and heal on their own. You can go to a doctor to make sure but if it's an abscess they'll just write you a script for one of the cycline antibiotics or clindamycin, maybe some tylenol-3, then send you out the door. They won't do incision and drainage until it gets really bad and isn't forming a head.

Got into a fight with my parents. I used to pay rent water light gas food. Basically all expenses as if i were to be living alone.
History of fights with my dad. Decide to not get beat up ans defend myself this time. After doing so. Get kicked out. Due tk paying for rent and shit at home. Have no money saved up. Went to live with a friend. He got a roomie so i had to leave. Girlfriend told her family. Im now sleeping on her couch. I currently have all my stuff at her house. And found a place to stay at. But till the 15th. I feel like a freeloader and feel like shit. Parents blame me ans siblings for the issues they have. Said its cause they didnt have time for themselves.
Just needed to vent. What would you do in my situation guys? Or any advice or opinion in this?

Im 20 and have a creeping suspicion that no matter what I do i will hate it after a while. I see it in my friend groups, i will hang oit with a certain crew and love it for a year or so but then just begin to hate their guts. Anyone else experience this or have any advice to overcome it

How long do you hold onto borrowed stuff before you give up trying to return it?
A girl I know lent me like 10-15 manga books and I have had them now for 3-4 years. It's been so long since I last saw her I'm not even sure how long it's really been.
The last time I saw her in person was brief and she was super short and shitty with me. I don't know if I just ran into her at a bad time or if she just had a shitty day at work or what, but I didn't get the chance to bring up the books and left her alone. That was at least over a year ago now. I tried messaging her on Facebook but she never gets on it so she never replied. Hell, I even showed up at her doorstep once and rang the doorbell but no one was home. I don't have her number anymore since my old phone died but I still have the same number, so I would think if she wanted her shit back she would have reached out to me by now.
Knowing my luck she'd message me out of the blue after I just dumped them off somewhere or something. So do I get rid of these books or do I hang onto them?

I've been smoking for quite some time now and i've never really have had any problems until recently. When i smoke, my heart starts to beat extremely fast, and this has continued to worry me. I've been told i have high blood pressure by my doctor, so naturally my shit is fucked i guess. Id like to continue smoking but im not sure how this would affect my shit. I used to be able to smoke a couple joints no problem in the past, but now even smoking half a joint makes my shit race. What do? I got half a joint here i've been thinking about smoking real quick. I got some things to distract myself so im not constantly thinking about my heart when it starts pounding. I just want things to be like it used to.

Backstory:
I am 25 and suffering from osteoarthritis. Bout two months ago I got started on a new medication (meloxicam) because Celebrex stopped being effective (my body got used to it).
I am in pain every day, more or less.
A week ago I decided to get new New Balance shoes since the insoles in my Nike free's were worn right through in several places. Also to see if my pain was from shoes that weren't working for me. I instantly had no pain whatsoever from New Balance. The following day at work (I work retail), I had no pain. The next day, I decided to wear my old Nike shoes (with new ortholite insoles) to see if the new insoles would help give less pain (cuz I didn't wanna throw them out). The following day, I wore my new New Balance shoes and the whole day I had a lot of heel pain.
So guys I come to you with a question. When I put on the new New Balance shoes, my left heel very soon begins to hurt and I can feel it pulsate even if I am just sitting down & not walking.
Why does it do that? Did I just get unlucky and now I need to get a different kind of shoe? The New Balance shoes have lots of cushion for the heel. When I stand on it it feels hard? Maybe shoes tied too tight?
And yes I do have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. I just wanted to hear anything you guys have to say

As for making friends, you have to figure out what kind of hobbies/pursuits are available in your area. E.G. shooting, table-top games, etc and try a bunch of them out proactively to try to meet people.
