I can lucid dream every time I take a nap because I feel this sensation in my stomach and it will make me grab it in my dream and realize I am dreaming. Why does this happen?
The dreams are really fragile and I can slip out of it really easily. I just want to have a long dream, I've tried stabilizing it with the spinning and rubbing hands technique but it doesn't work.

I can never stabilize my lucid dreams. They used to fade to white, now they generally fade to black. I've tried looking at my hands, saying some trigger phrase out loud, mentally attempting to "anchor" myself in the context while not turning awareness to awakening, etc. I'm not sure why I lose awareness that I'm dreaming, or force myself out of it.
I've got me some trigeminal neuralgia, type 2. I also do not know why the absence of facial sensation / pain isn't an omnipresent dream sign. The machinery of the mind relative to dream states is very curious. Just the fact that you can tell yourself "I should remember my dreams tonight", and have it happen, implies some part of the mind is aware one is dreaming and biases memory storage accordingly. Or maybe you know you're going to sleep, and therefore the mind just says "remember everything after this point, until waking up is detected".
Don't know. I'd like to lucid dream. I've actually lucid dreamed in a literal sense, many times, but I never have any control. Attempts to control fade to white. Control that fails loses vividness and then fades to black. Only once have I stabilized a fade to black.
Also tried throwing myself into the void as things were fading. I felt my neck and back snap from the sudden acceleration, but woke up nonetheless.

So this happened last night. It was a friend's bday, so we got together, we ate dinner and have some drinks.
Around 2.30am, a couple of drinks in, we headed to the club: that's when things got messy.
The entrance was crowded af, as always. One of us gathered all the money so we could get in faster.
Was during this "getting the tickets and in the club" process that we lost one of our friends (he was pretty wasted)
Ten minutes later we were finally getting in the club and we realised he was missing, so we searched for him for around 10 more minutes
and after trying to reach him on the phone with no success we decided to get in the club since he was probably on his way home.
Shortly after that, some texts were sent from his phone:
1) To our wspp group: Saying "Ban this cell number" (at this point i have to clarify that we are from Argentina. He literally wrote the word "ban" that, as if it wasn't weird enough that's in english (for not much of the population here speaks the language),
it makes reference to a game we all play in our group called "League of Legends")
2) To a girl he is dating: Saying "Babe, some jerk stole my phone" and some emotes. Then 20 minutes after, he send to this same girl some more emotes, and told her to reach him via fb chat.
The next morning we woke up to the news that he has "been robbed/lost" his cellphone (the inverted comas because he doesn't remember what happened exactly last night, he only remembers
not having the phone) and took a cab back home shortly after we got in the club and one of the two options aboved happened.
Were messages send before he was "robbed", and if so, how. Did the rober sent the messages, and if so, why did he picked this girl to send msg to, and why did he used the world "ban"
Help us bring some sense into this story please.

While I was meditating today I tried "golden ratio breathing" that I read about here a few days ago.
Inhale for 3 seconds, exhale for 5 (or 5 then 8). I found when I did it this right, there was a slight sensation at the end of the exhale. Somewhat similar to feeling lightheaded. After some time I stopped counting because this feeling was the perfect indicator.
Can anyone give me tips on what to actually do once I feel sufficiently relaxed? I read about the jhanas (I think they're called) and tried to focus on any pleasant bodily sensations but I haven't been successful yet, is this smart to keep practicing?

Hunting season is coming up in many areas of the United States. I don't know about other states, but in Minnesota we have to wear blaze orange whilst we are out in the woods looking for game. The "authorities" say this is protects hunters from other hunters. This is just an excuse. Drugs and alcohol related incidents aside, no one would ever mistake another human for a bird. No, we are forced to wear blaze orange not for our safety but the exact opposite. It is so "they" can't miss us.
