Old school Penn level wind bar. I'm waiting on extra money to complete the build for my buddy but he had 2 Penns with the screw bar instead of the worm and guide. I got pne done for him a while back but he is a spinner like you so he is having problems with it. I am going to see if he will let me have this one as payment for the other or sell me both for cheap.

Thrunite tn 12 for my edc. I also carry the thrunite th10 headlamp in my pack, which I use for camping too

Both use 18650s. Both are solid steel, so no plastic bits on the handlight or headlamp. Durable as fuck, with a 2 yr warranty that they fully replace if it breaks. Both are nice flood/throwers, with the tn12 having 5 outputs, max of 1150. The th10 max output is like 750 great run times. The tn12 also has a strobe mode, the th10 has a Sos mode strobe.

I have a black diamond storm. It's a few years old, but it works fine. Got it from the clearance bin for $20.

Headlamps get revamped so often there's always a good one in the clearance bin.

Just get a cheap one unless you're gonna be in salt/sand regularly. Marine rated gear is awfully expensive. Seawater will make anything woven stink pretty bad if you can't wash with freshwater.

Nice shit. They also make sweet handles for ferro rods, if you cut small disc like pieces, you can make sweet buttons for pouches.

theres a fairly large panning community where I live, most of them will give you hints where to go but they all have their secret spots.

I've never been but I'd love to try.
